You guys are saying it’s disgusting and I understand that. There is a difference between a Breeder and a puppy mill. Puppy mills have no care whatsoever for the puppies, and the parents. Breeders, GOOD breeders, take pride in raising a healthy puppy with a healthy family. Breeders don’t breed tons of puppies in a month. They usually do a few seasons and are patient with their moms and studs. So for the people who want a puppy but also don’t want to be purchasing from a puppy mill, an animal shelter or trusted breeder is recommended. Breeders won’t overprice the puppies like a mill will.
Agreed. My mom is a proud breeder but we dont have a ridiculous amount of dogs. We only have 1 male and 2 working females. But they are our pets. We play with them, clean them, etc. We dont force a dog to have puppies after she already had some. We let the mom take a nice long break and make sure she is healthy before we breed them again. We will NEVER breed the dogs if they are in pain, uncomfortable or unhealthy. My dog will retire with breeding in 2 years when she turns 6, because she will get old eventually. But i agree with you.
Just to me a good responsible breeder will never have that many different breeds of dogs. A responsive breeder will have 1 maybe 2 breeds and if they have 2 odds are they are breeds that are similar in what they are bred for (ex. Labrador and golden retriever).
How much are good breeder dogs compared to mills. Also do you know how exactly to look for good breeders. I’ve been searching but no luck. Only found 2 puppies out of the 4 breeds I want. And they are costing 7.5k

Btw, an ethical breeder usually has prices like these due to having FEW litters a year!! A friend of mine is a good example, he bred shiba inus, he was a registered breeder for 7 years! But in his entire 7 years of holding that title he only had…2 litters ever. Each puppy left for 7k! Total of 7 puppies he has ever raised. Why? Because out of those 7 years he spent all his time taking his dogs to shows and perfecting the breed standard. An ethical breeder never makes profit, when they do its nothing much. If a breeder is making more profit than what they put into the pup, it’s unethical.

Im confused about the stigma behind breeding dogs....yes, there are homeless dogs in shelters and all over the streets in some countries. Thats sad. But not everyone wants to take home a mutt who was abandoned and has been through god knows what and has god knows what genetic problems. Many thousands of people want quality AKC puppies with known lineage and history. Nobody shames the person walking down the street with a purebred puppy but we are ready to lynch the provider of these puppies. . . . Exactly, the bottom-line coming from myself a large scale, quality breeder there is a small, small percentage of people that disagree with breeding registered dogs, the thing is the 95% that agree with it think it's common sense to agree with it, the 5% are so loud and proud that you think ALOT of people would have a problem with it, but really it'd say it's very well accepted, the only thing I saw that I don't necessarily agree with in the video, by no means condemning her either, to me a breeder with this many different types of dogs can't properly understand the intimate details of each breed, I think a breeder should have 4 or less breeds of dogs but that's personal opinion

I got my first dog from a pet store from someone like this(they did the same thing) and she had so many ear issues. Unless you can talk to the breeder themselves and see where the puppies come from and know that they are health tested this is not the way to get a dog😢
Well….this is an acceptable facility.. in my mind…this seems like a decent operation…perhaps appears a bit larger than some may like.. go look at the military dogs where they are kept and trained. Breeders should breed dogs to give them best quality of life. This breeder does this for money. I have seen puppy mills, and I have worked with and for responsible, ethical breeders. All this is, is a puppy mill that is relatively clean sanitation-wise. At least 6 different breeds of dogs, not a single dog in shot bred to their breed's standard (I am personally familiar with and have worked closely/owned 3 of these breeds), selling to pet stores and online, multiple litters at one time... This is a plain and simple puppy mill, by the very definition of the term. Just because the dogs aren't crawling around in feces and underfed doesn't mean it can't be a puppy mill. This is a large scale, for-profit breeding business designed and catered towards selling puppies first and foremost: the literal definition of what a puppy mill is.
I'm happy to state unequivocally that my dog has a nicer life than those dogs. I have no problem with breeders who have two or three pet dogs in their home and allow two to get together for puppies. That means: knowing what you are doing to improve the health and temperament of the breeds, provide more genetic diversity and care for the dogs in a household, not a cage outside. Take the pug for example, I am against breeding these dogs like they are bred today. They have so many genetic diseases and can't properly breathe. Dogs like the Shiloh Shepherd is something that I do support. Rescue when you can and just don't buy from puppy mills and please god stop breeding pets because "you want a puppy from them".

We don’t need more dogs in the world my family fosters dogs and right now we have one that was supposed to be put down I understand some breeders care about the animals but some care about money all my friends got dogs from a breeder and pretty much all my dogs have been mutts I try to remind them breeders are trying to get money you would much rather rescue a dog the shelters are being crowded with means more dogs being put down we don’t need more dogs in this world there are so many already. Chances are the dogs have a better and more free life than the apartment dwelling millennials that feel so obligated to "rescue" them
