It's literally the exact same camera on both phones. At the end of your video you can clearly see just how FILTHY the camera lens is on the G4 compared to the G5. Sorry to burst the bubble on the G4 haters in the comments but both these phones use the exact same PP2-2 Y513A-1450 Camera and the exact same F1405 Sensor. Next time... clean both camera lens before doing a comparison.

Great comparison, although both cameras suffer from skipped frames big time. Might wanna put both in airplane mode and kill any non essential apps in the background, I find that helps a lot. Also looks like your G4 lens wasn't totally clean, lack of contrast and soft highlights are a telltale sign.
That cracked screen though. 😷
looks like the lens on your g4 lens has to be wiped down because I seen g4 camra even when I have a g3 the camra wasn't all that bad when I bought it from a second party on Craigslist

G5 has a faster processor and that's the only thing it has over the G4. The G4 supports a larger SD (even tho they don't make them that big yet), the G4 has a larger battery, the G4 looks a lot better, and believe it or not they both have the exact same PP2-2 Y513A-1450 Camera and the exact same F1405 Sensor. The only reason you see a difference is because the G4 in this video has a very dirty lens. You can see that at the end of the video.
In the video of the LG G5 definitely takes it but compared to the G4 photo eyes certain pictures did not look better
WTH do do with your phones?The G4's back was extremely dirty and the G5's screen was cracked. I have the G4 with no case and still looks like new 9 months later.

i have my g4 for a year some ans still look brand new. i got the orange leather lg and stills look brand new. i also got the maroon leather covers still look freshhhh

It the same camera on both phones. Watch end of the video. The G4 camera lens is as dirty as can be. That's the only reason the look different.
1984sFinest besides that LG took notes from the S6 and did everything it did better than the G4 and put it in the G5, as well as change the colors. Same camera but importuned functions. Trust me you'll know when you see it

the g4 does better 4 colours taking photos the video quality it's like the v10 but without manual mode the only better thing it's the second camera on the back wich the v10 has on the front

actually g4's camera is better than of the g5, simply because g4 has that raw file while the g5 has none, but the wide camera and manual video is a nice touch for the g5.

It takes time for higher resolutions to be available on new videos. Give the video a few minutes.
***** ar first it was only 360p but even though it's a very bad video this guy doesn't shoot properly, he crops photos and his photos look shit .. his speed tests are nice but camera comparisons look awful and not trusted tbh
