Love it. I was a slapstick GL main all the way through base world to HR250+, then when Iceborne dropped I switched to savage axe but that gameplay made me miss those juicy hits!
Do you consider using shells when he starts with ice element? Since shells do a little bit of fire damage it may really increase run speed without negating the elemental damage part.
No, Shelling does only "true" damage. It has no modifiers, it deals flat damage no matter where it hits. So I wouldn't shell at all until atleast one DPS check a cycle is met.
How is he getting 800 + damage on a lance slap ? That makes 0 sense is it the agitator bonus plus the attack boost if so that’s op as fuck I never run those skills because on paper they seem trash how is adding 21 attack and some affinity making his damage so much better then zero attack boost can someone explain the math of it and why these skills work because it seems I see every Japanese player using them an I missing out by not having these skills
You have to be hitting his weakspots and perfectly evading to trigger evasion mantles bonus attack but you should definitely being doing more damage than just 40-50, doubt you have the exact build.
Sorry I haven't replied, gave up with this build I will figure it out other time (and yes I was using the exact build), I ended up beating him with duel blades.
I am sorry to ask Ryo but I really suspected because I try your build and do same thing but my damage not as high as you. And my time that I killed Alateron is 28 mins much longer than you but I know myself I am casual player.
This is so perfect! Also I didn't know that you could stop monsters from flying by hiding from them. This is genius!

Tell use what you're using and what you're doing. maybe you are not critting as much or you have a weaker weapon

たぶん挑戦者発動させるついでにダメージとってるのとダウン中でダメージを稼ぐことで弱体化させやすくしてるんだと思う

I just use the safi gunlance, you'll miss out on critical element though
u could juz farm melder, or safi's one, works fine, but longer kill time
