Today's high-priority tasking: refueling the E-4B Nightwatch, the National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC).
The Nightwatch, also known as the "Doomsday Plane," is a vital command center in times of crisis. This airborne war room allows the President, Secretary of Defense, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff to govern and coordinate military operations for days on end from anywhere globally.

So, just to be clear, the 126th ARW is based at Scott Air Force Base, near Belleville, Illinois. Great Lakes Naval Station doesn't actually have any runways (anymore).

It didn't.. This was all planned, for if it had been an actual emergency, there wouldn't have been pre-positioned camera's to capture the event :-)

They are not asleep at the wheel. If they didn’t have it under control, we’d all be gone now.
B-747 airframes usually have a fuel load starting at takeoff in excess of 50,000 gallons of JP-4 or JP-5 which weigh 6.5 and 6.8 pounds per gallon. A total of 325,000 pounds of JP-4 or 340,000 pounds of JP-5 may be carried. The need for more tankers and tankers with greater payloads of fuel is clear and paramount.

I could be mistaken, but I live pretty close to Andover just outside of Wichita kansas. Three times in the last couple months they have scrambled their entire flight line to get the aircraft out of the way of the oncoming storms. That could be exactly what we're watching here. And they're just turning it into a training exercise. It's absolutely not what the commentary says is going on. I love these idiotic foreign-made videos that try to tell us how our military works and why they're doing things. 🤡
