I totally agree. I'm so disappointed with the new album. They changed their sound to pop punk and it was quite boring in my opinion. Kingdoms for life.
Way out of key.. Cant stand it when vocalists out do themselves on the cd and cant perform them live. 'oh your voice is tired from screaming for the past hour?' You should maybe think about how much auto-tune youre using... ? ill stick to listening to Kingdoms, gentleman's brawl is a let down
There is a difference between having bad vocal tonality and being Totally out of key - I hadn't heard anything that was MASSIVELY out of tune. I know what you're saying though there were parts that were super harsh BUT to his credit I think Misha did a great job with what he was working with. Most huge artists have in ear monitors that help immensely with intonation and vocal awareness , when you're lacking those things you get tonally off performances like this - due to playing at a venue where the promoter uses some fucking guy who thinks he knows what live sound is. If you can't hear yourself, you end up basically "over singing" throwing your voice out trying to overpower stage volume so you can hear yourself which is what is causing his tonal issues which inevitably leads to tuning issues and being out of breath which leads to a more taxed performance. So you're not super wrong - but you're basically shitting on a guy that didn't have the equipment or the personnel to deliver a stand out performance.
Don't jump the shark if you can sing this good.
ive known this band since there album first came out and i listen to their album everyday. the music never gets old
