I like how Rob says *aaaaTEMPting* like there is a huge amount of uncertainty and we don't all know that car is going to be an absolute stunner when he's done with it! Great job, as always! I like the "restoration plus" method, I think it does add a nice little touch.
I have watched few restoration which you did before and I think that you are always bringing back the elegance of the old cars we used to play with as kids... Keep up the good work.
It's gorgeous and thanks but I'd love to see it roll and have it's performance measured. The new stuff rolls like magic and oldies too if axles are straight. That's a big part of the fun with these. They roll so well. Thanks again, Paul in Thailand
Exceptional job, Rob. I must say, I do prefer your restoration videos rather than the custom ones, although, both make for highly captivating viewing. Many thanks for your good work...
Smashing job Rob. I believe this was a car I had and painted it black, with a small Testor's paint brush. What the hell I was 10. Never did that again.😑👍🏻👍🏻
That was one mean looking car, that orange color looks fast just standing still. I am glad you redid the hubs flat black was definitely not cutting it. Thanks for sharing this video with me and please keep them coming up.
Is that the car from _Hardcastle & McCormick_ ? I thought so too, but I couldn't remember the name of it (and if I searched it I'd just end up going down the wiki hole and waste the rest of the afternoon reminiscing about '80s cop shows :).
Nice, have also one of these not In good condition. Those detailed lights make this model look much better, funny how small details change a lot of cars look.
Awesome! I thought I'd share a tip I'd heard on another car channel (I forget which) to stop the the wires on the brush wheel from coming off: all you do is run some superglue around the round base of the brush to set them in. I've not had a chance to try it but it can't hurt to give it a go. :)
I believe that there could be a detail of black lines on the rear louvers and air inlet. Otherwise, you do absolutely great/beautiful work. I love watching the restorations! Thanks for posting your work.
Stunner Rob. Smash that like button folks, I want this one.. my era. ;-)
The added detail work you put into every one of your projects really makes them look sharp.
Love it when you find these more obscure castings and make them look so good!

Great restoration. My grandson would love this for their little collection they have on show.
You did this quirky casting justice. It went from bizarre to beautiful.

I just recently discovered your channel. It's very soothing and amazing to see those wee models come back to new found glory.
Really neat. I like the odd and different cars.
Brilliant result Rob, orange actually suits the styling of the car! Looking forward to the next one.
I googled that car...Surprised to find out it was built in the 60's! VERY futuristic design for that era! Nice job!
Absolutely beautiful!!! Great job, Rob!!! Your detail work is awesome!
Exceptional job, Rob. I must say, I do prefer your restoration videos rather than the custom ones, although, both make for highly captivating viewing. Many thanks for your good work...
I'm really impressed by the special detailing you do on each vehicle.
Beautiful work !
Those 70's chapes are really great
Wow that’s really awesome Rob it’s great to see a Corgi restoration and those little details make it stand out
Wow, that really turned out to be a beautiful model! Great work, Rob
Looks like a cross between a Countach and a McLaren F1 that’s been converted to off-road! Nice work Rob, as always 😉👍
That was probably the most beautiful Marcos ever to be made, it's a shame it never raced or went into a limited production run. Nice restoration Rob.
Friggin awesome! Rare car and awesome custom restoration! I actually did have this model when I was a child. Fastest in its class!
Smashing job Rob. I believe this was a car I had and painted it black, with a small Testor's paint brush. What the hell I was 10. Never did that again.😑👍🏻👍🏻
Very clean resto+. Lovely paint. Sweet ride.
Couldnt help laughing when you said 'metal based car' when the original was fiberglass and plywood. Nicely finished model looks really good
I love this! Really takes me back to my childhood favorites.
Very nice futuristic looking car. Fine restoration.
That was one mean looking car, that orange color looks fast just standing still. I am glad you redid the hubs flat black was definitely not cutting it. Thanks for sharing this video with me and please keep them coming up.
A kind of Mad Max vehicle at the beginning, a very nice car at the end, and of course it deserved a resto. 👍
Reminds me a bit of a Coyote X.
As always, fantastic result! Thanks for the video!!

amazing looking car, never knew it was a real thing, looks totally made up for a game.
Stunning and the rear lights do it justice along with the other little touches A WAIT NEXT VIDEO ......
Beautiful car - you did a grand job
Excellent restoration Rob!
Nice car Rob. A little trick on your wire brushes is to apply super glue around the wire where they attach. It really works, most of the time.
Another fantastic job as always Rob 👍
I remember a neighbour of my uncle had a beautiful dark red marcos on his drive,
Funky.
Awesome restoration plus! It is a beautiful car! Thanks for sharing! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Shabby to shiny indeed. Very slick
Good job!! The car is a Marcos Mantis XP. Search on Google and you can add more details. Greetings from Córdoba, Argentina.
Really appreciate your page, it gives me a lot of ideas and inspiration

Those detailed lights make this model look much better, funny how small details change a lot of cars look.
Liked! Really! Corgi WHIZZWHEELS are my favorite.
Love the 🍊 color!!!
Another good one. I’ve never seen that casting before.
I just put your vids on at work and watch them all day. It actually helps my productivity, believe it or not.
Nice work, I love that orange
Got one of those! Similar state to your "before" 🤣 although the orange that's on it has more red tone in. Great transformation! ❤️
Cool beans!
Thanks Rob
Turned out beautiful Rob.
Looking good. Luv that colour
Excellent restoration rob , made the right choice to restore rather then custom.
Great work as always Rob!! Love your work!
Looks like a car that would be in a GTA game, came out incredible!
Hi another fantastic video again you did a brilliant job on the car keep up the good work BELLISSIMO
I have never seen one of those before. Great work.
the weird ones are cool at times. the minor detail etc lights made it better
Fabulous job as always Rob
Awesome restoration
I've got one of these somewhere, Had it since I was 4 (1975). Same colour.
Very nice restoration Rob. The color is really nice. The detail it's very good. I would be proud to win that car👍
Quality job fella!

Im pretty bright eyed to these restorations, i barely started watching like maybe 4 months ago
Ice restoration Rob , l'm sure l had one of these as a kid, or atleast one of my mates did. Looks really futuristic for its time 😉👍
Love the orange!!!
What an incredible transformation... er, restoration-plus! 😉
That turned out beautiful. It is an odd looking machine.

Nice one , Rob .. Good job as usual..👍🏻
That car is Awesome 👍
I believe that there could be a detail of black lines on the rear louvers and air inlet. Otherwise, you do absolutely great/beautiful work. I love watching the restorations! Thanks for posting your work.
That’s an odd casting, I don’t think I have any corgi’s in my collection. Very nice job big thumbs up 👍🏻.
🔥🤘🏻
The finished effort reminded me very much of one of the Mercedes Benz CIII prototype cars, even the same colour!
That’s a Corgi I don’t remember... but very neat casting... and great mod-restoration 😎
You did an awesome job as usual.
I'm not too big on orange, even though it's one of my college colors, but this is a beaut. Nice work Rob.
Very interesting model..
Nice job Rob!
Rob the man, the myth, the legend
Good job! it looks good as new!
Looking great.
From shabby to nice!!!
