what sucks is the change in vertical measurements.. it transforms the glasses completely.. The smaller the vertical size the more square they look. yours in the big size looks completely different than the other two. They look more round.
I noticed that as well and totally agree. It doesn’t really look like a true Wayfarer style. Luckily, the 55mm fit me (but with no room to spare). The 58mm would probably fit better on me, but I’ll take a pass and stick with my snug 55’s.

I have seen on the ray ban site, you measure your eye with a credit card to get what size you need. I feel I am just in between needing a large over that standard size. Would the 58s be too large?

The top one is my old one and the bottom is my new. They look slightly different. Just trying to make sure they are at least the same size. Some of the info is different.

Any idea when polarized green classic lens will be made available for the flat black (rubber) in the 58mm size? As of right now they're only available in the two smaller sizes. Thanks in advance.
Hi Justin! Unfortunately, that specific combination is not currently offered and it is unknown if it will be done in the future. However, any chance you wear prescription? You can build a custom prescription RB2132 with authentic Ray-Ban prescription lenses that are G-15 polarized. Wanted to ask you guys. Which material do you personally prefer on the New Wayfarers? Gloss or matte and why?
Rob prefers the Matte on the new Wayfarers for a couple of reasons. One is the Matte finish seems to not scratch up as much and Matte material has a natural stick that allows the glasses to stick to your face better. We have noticed the current trend is for Matte finish and personally we think it looks better than the gloss.

As a woman in all sunglasses I prefer the shiny one since it’s more versatile for every occasion either casual or elegant. Easier to Dress up or down

Hello Athena! The eyesize(lens width) is commonly marked on the inside of the temple or under the nosebridge of most glasses. If you have a pair at home you can always compare it to see what size will work best for you. We do have a 45 day return policy so if they do not fit you can always return them for store credit or a full refund. OR if you need them in prescription, you can have both pairs sent to you to test out and then send them back to us and let us know which one works best and we can start creating your custom rx lenses from there. Can guys buy the Glossy finish or is it just for the girls ?
We have had many male customer purchase the Glossy finished frame. At the end of the day we think it comes down to personal preference, but the Glossy finish can be rocked by all genders!

I've heard the New Wayfarer only comes in the gloss black frame finish in the 58mm size. Is this true or do they make the 58mm frame in the matte finish?
They come matte black for sure. I have a set myself (this is Rob).
