Excellent clarity and accuracy in explanation of concepts.
This is brilliant, thank you for uploading.
Really appreciate the team the concept was clearly explained 👌👌👌
Very good!
the cathode & anonde used in this process by chlor alkali industry, are these specialised or it can be used in any industry?
very highly specialized; the anode is typically a titanium metal substrate with RuO2 or IrO2 mixed with TiO2; the cathode can be Pt, steel, or nickel
Underrated video
This video was very useful! Thanks a lot!
I don't know from what year is this, but damm it helped me a lot, thank you
Hello You use titanium anode,right?
Looks like copper to me.
It is Titanium
What is the material acting as salt bridge?
I think that should be cardboard in the experiment.
Very precisely explained
we are produce chlorine gas in membrane electrolysis, but in depleted brine is strong acid ,why produce acidic solution?
formation of hydrochloric acid by reacton of chlorine gas and water.
Wow
nice video!
Yes,I'm working in chloro-alkali field
Which industry manufacturers chlorine through chlor alkali?
@@youngblackcoke6563 chloro alkali industry manufacturers chlorine. I work for Aditya Birla group/Grasim chemical
Ineos
I worked for years in a chlorine production plant. Old mercury cell process then modern membrane cells.
thanks!!
great
Did you just say Walvisbay?
They used to use mercury cathodes in this process then pump rhe mercury to a clean water pool to make NaOH and hydrogen. Another one was to then bubble the chlorine into the NaOH to make NaOCl or bleach 🤓
One mistake in 10:19.
Yes dude
