We have eyes but we are blinded to the truth of deception of the World, we lack full awareness, we have ears but we do no listen to the truth we have tongues but fail to speak the truth out of fear, we speak but without full understanding of full reason in our speech on others, remember forgiveness and understanding do not give into hate of retribution, for the devil walks among us with us demons in total agreement of him knowing he has a short period of time.

We learn from the past, so as to not repeat the past...
Sadly it seems the majority of the Americans {white Europeans} were bad people such as Adolf Hitler they to committed murder in masses/genocide of whole Tribes...

What a heartbreaking and gut wrenching true story of a great betrayal, for your kindness, love and trust he returned it with cruelty, wickedness and great evil. You're people learned a very valuable and costly lesson, yet your love shines brightly still through to this day, no matter what those who came before you did go through. It's a miracle your great great grandmother survived the cold of winter, hanging in a tree for safety with no food. The Great Spirit witnessed all of this and will grant justice for your people in the next world you will enter, as betrayers and the wicked will never enter in. ♾

@@JohnMellandSain Bain'nu, thank you for sharing! We're both an interesting mix (in Mongolia there's a big joke about my kind but I dare not say it here). Were I more fluent in Mongol I could possibly translate Ogema Geshiig instantly, it looks so familiar. In Latin script we also use the double vowels for long sound, although "ii" is never pronounced "eye," that's an English quirk only LOL In Altaic root languages, Hindi & Hebrew for example, phonetic "eye" is written "ai." Anyhow, this word "human" comes from the Mongol "huumuun," the sentient being made in Tengri's (God's) Image. 🐎 🇲🇳

My heart sank 💔 at first about your great-great grandmother having to leave her daughter in a tree - in winter!!! Never knowing until she returned if her baby daughter survived! How horrifying of an experience! No wonder why you are such a wise man. You have a great lineage. So sorry 😢about the experience even happening to your people. I live near Hesperus Mountain. Know all the areas you spoke of.

I really enjoy hearing your stories and they will live on forever. My friend/neighbor is from the Bitter Water Clan. My Father's clan are from Copper Canyon in the Sierra Madre of the state of Chihuahua. My Grandma didn't share a lot of the culture or the language with my dad because the Mexican people did not like the Raramuri either. From what my dad says he believes she wanted to assimilate to Mexican culture so they would not be discriminated against. She told him stories about how Geronimo and a group of Apache's hid amongst the Raramuri people in Copper Canyon. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find much information to say conclusively but my grandma told him they were related to the Apache band of people who had made their home in the canyons. Hopefully one day I can confirm his story before he leaves his physical body, my dad is 82 years old and we now live in NM. I've never felt more at home. My gift has flourished here and i believe i was meant to come back here and though its been hard at times we love it here. Thanks for sharing your stories!

I am so very glad that your great grandmother survived that terrible ordeal. I am glad for every person who survived. The actions of the army and of the US government were unforgivable, and the treachery of Kit Carson, repaying kindness with betrayal, is utterly odious.
Thank you for teaching us this history. When I learn history, my heart is always with the defenders, the people being attacked, and never with the invaders. I am ashamed of every person and every action that puts itself into the project of EMPIRE. Empire is just a name for mass murder, theft and slavery, and it is a crime against life and against God whenever an empire is inflicted upon the people and the planet.
Words fail... Whatever happens, I want all forms of empire and all forms of oppression to end. God bless all those who oppose evil. May they be given strength beyond their numbers, and may the mighty wicked ones fall. May the world know peace again.
Blessings be to all the children of Holy Mother God.

This both hurts me deeply and fills me with rage. The hurt is for the tribes, the rage is at the white mans behaviors that continue to this day. So many betrayals that continue still to this day. I wish i could be adopted by the tribes and be surrounded by your loving kind spirits to learn and see how communities really DO work to pull ttogether and support eachother, instead of creating red tape and ostracizing those who are more or less otherworldly like I am. Much love to the indigenous peoples. Thank you for sharing truth and wisdom. I sure wish I had known these things sooner. ❤

    As a descendent of
Mexican national parents, I apologize for the atrocities. Mexico became an oppressor-colonizer.
Mexican identity is a complex thing: it can refer to the government, the precolombian native empire or the people that make up most of it and which a majority are mixed blood native and Spaniard.

Look up the history of Carson before making a judgement. Both parties were at fault numerous times throughout our history. Many times Carson and people he were with were attacked by Native Americans, and vice versa. He married two NA women.
Without all the facts we can only speculate motives, but based on what I could find about Carson was that later in life he was really trying to help resolve the Native American and settler problem as best as he could.

At first, I was quite sympathetic to this story. But I did a good bit of research on Kit Carson, and his story is quite interesting. Then I did some digging on the Navajo - and found that (like the Apaches and Comanches) managed to make enemies out of literally everyone due to their warmongering.
So Kit Carson's crusade - which is well documented, btw - makes quite a lot of sense in the context of things.

The “Blue Coats” also invaded my land in 1863 also: and killed 2 of my Great Great grandfathers and imprisoned my Great Grandfather. Sherman and his band of merry men came through within 10 miles of my home (enough said). We had help from the Cherokee and the Catawba’s in the east. My Great Grandfather rode with the Catawba Rangers; but he isn’t honored now in this generation. I am sorry about all the suffering they caused your people too.

Our Creator told me to watch this. Spiritually it relates to the spiritual starvation and subjugation of most church-goers to the prideful whims of their false teachers and false prophets, and their inevitable vulnerability when God sends the Chns armies like a flood upon our lands in both the US and Australia.

It's hard for me to put myself in the minds of these invaders and colonists and figure out how and why they were so intentionally brutal and heartless. Why was that considered normal and acceptable by the Euro-Americans/settlers? Why did they insist so much on violence instead of peaceful coexistence?

On the flip side, many native American groups were quite a bit more brutal.
Comanches cut off the eyelids of their tortured victims and had them stare into the hot Texas sun. You can read the book "Indian Depredations in Texas" for unending stories of Native Americans brutalizing families for any and every reason.
People under the influence of Satan are evil to one another.

Though not of direct blood I remain ashamed of the genocide of the Dinee, the Long Walk..Living in Taos for years I used to walk by Kit Carson home on Bent St(just off the Plaza). I knew what the real history was.
