Elvis is my all time favorite singer! In Taiwan, where I live, in he is called Mao Wang in Chinese. (Not like chairman mao!). It means Cat King in English! I love that, as I have 3 cats, also. Cats and Elvis! FOREVER! My mother met him one time in Vegas when they were performing together. She was a famous dancer. She broke her toe on stage, and Elvis' doctor set it.

Me too, John Lennon's murder was surely the worst assassination of the 20th century. He was robbed of his life and relationships - we were robbed of his wonderful music, razor sharp wit and incredible wisdom. We will never know what we have lost, from those missing 40 years of John's life, but my guess is some unimaginable, incredible, magical things. I know we must be grateful for the 40 years we had but damn - he was murdered in his prime, with so much more to enjoy and share. Such a wicked injustice to him, his loved ones and the millions of people he touched. As one wit said: "The Beatles died in the wrong order". A bit cruel perhaps, but sadly true - John and George were the spiritual heart and soul of the Beatles.

I think Lennon and Darin are the best realised ones here. Saddest thing of all, there was no chance for Bobby Darin, he had a bad heart and was living on stoppage time his whole adult life. He made the most of the hand he was dealt.

About parents and children. Just had this conversation with my 44 year old son. He witnessed an 8 year old hit his grandparent in the face because Spider Man was sold out. The Dad rewarded him by getting him tickets for tomorrow’s show. Rewarding bad behavior. Sad.
Also Freddie Prinze, Sr. He was fooling around with a gun and shot himself early the next year. His son is now almost twice as old as he (Senior) ever was.
Something freakishly odd, even creepy, when the artificial intelligence brings movement, and eye blinking into the aged performers. Even in the real still photos, you can detect life in the eyes of each performer, but in the aged recreations my brain is telling me, it knows, there is no life behind those eyes, which gives each one a very creepy almost, sensation.

Your artists did wonderful work. You didn't do Elvis from age 42, you did him from a younger age. A few I may know their music, but I wasn't familiar with their name.
I doubt Elvis would still have his 1950's hair by 2021. They haven't taken into account hair loss or later hair trends. He may have grown a beard or mustach as well.

Bobby Darin was legendary in music, not because he could sing and write music, but because he managed to do it in so many different styles and genre. His death made music world suffer a big loss.

Really enjoyed this. It's fantastic. Although my first impression was, 'how creepy'. I soon got past that and was blown away. So cleaver. So sad that they never got the chance to progress to old age naturally.
That's incredible to see, what those famous celebrities who died way before their time. What they would've looked like if they were still around. The music is especially evocative, and can bring tears to people's eyes. I would love to have sent you a photo of my Maternal Grandparents as youngsters (in their teens or twenties) but done in AI. It makes me cry. I miss my beloved Maternal Grandfather Les and Grandma Irene so much

Interesting watching this clip. I wonder if you could do one where you actually compare the AI generated images based on earlier photos of people still alive today with what they actually look like today.
Definitely creepy but really interesting idea . Some seemed very believable, some not. Would love to see Rick Nelson who died at 45, done this way.

Absolutely: take your point . He looks every second of his age ( plus ) : compare him to Rod Stewart ( about sane age ) who looks like his son. Then again he’s had a helluva life !

The skin on many of them looks way to young for what their ages would be now.
I agree.....and no grey hair on some of them. Accurate if there'd be a way of staying young looking into their 70s and 80s, but I'd like to see these re - creations done w/ more old looking lines in the face and grey hairs.

Your artists did wonderful work. You didn't do Elvis from age 42, you did him from a younger age. A few I may know their music, but I wasn't familiar with their name.
I doubt Elvis would still have his 1950's hair by 2021. They haven't taken into account hair loss or later hair trends. He may have grown a beard or mustach as well.
My favorite channel. I do think Elvis and Hendrix are really good. Really amazing how you do that.

Seeing the move about and change expression was really spooky. It would be interesting to take a photo of a living younger person and compare it to how AI ages them as to how they really look now.

Interesting...however, those born before 1949 are aged 70 and older. You have portrayed all of these folks as being in their 50s or 60s. Big differene.

I thought the best ones were Keith Moon and Karen Carpenter. When you see her brother Richard, you get an idea of how Karen would have looked.
Except those two only look as though they are in their 40s here.
Posting 11-27-21, which incidentally wouldve been Jimi Hendrix' 79th birthday. Yesterday, I happened to skim a magazine article in which her brother mentioned that today, at age 71, she would probably have still been singing had her voice held up.
i am 68 and look younger than my age my opinion is the age progression is not accurate on most if not all. i appreciate what your doing but it needs tweaking...

In the thumbnail, the Elvis on the left is more his 1960 look. By 1969/70, he had longer hair and heavy sideburns. He also gained some weight.
Jim Morrison dosen't look a day over 50, bob Marley looks the same, dennis wilson looks in his 50's, no wrinkles on keith moon, Karen carpenter looks 40
Bobby Darin was legendary in music, not because he could sing and write music, but because he managed to do it in so many different styles and genre. His death made music world suffer a big loss.
There's also the possibility of weight gain, hair loss and plastic surgery. How bout actors like James Dean or John Belushi wonder how they would look

James Dean's career would have waned by the time he would have been in his 30's and would have piled on the pounds I reckon
