Ross Bridge, the newest addition to the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail measuring a cool 8191yards! Mark Crossfield and Coach Lockey, PGA Professionals, have made their way to Alabama on their Masters Trip. Watch the guys battle it out in a matchplay competition. This course is mega and one of the most impressive either have played.....enjoy.

We play the orange/white combo. Played the tips tournament there a couple years ago. I play off 4 and shot 102 from the tips.
The tips at all of the trail courses is CRAZY long. 102 is a good scramble score at one of these places. haha.
I love survival courses like this. This kind of golf is so fun when it is just a complete grind to get pars. It makes a birdie feel that much better when you finally get one.

Mark you are making an extremely difficult course look easy, from the tips no less. Thanks for the great comments regarding the course!! The whole RTJ trail has great courses around the state and I encourage you to come back and try more of them in the future. => The Judge at Capitol Hill, Lake Course in Auburn/Opelika, Oxmoor Valley, RTJ in Mobile, The Canyon & Loblolly Courses in Greenville are some of the best!!

Really enjoying this course vlog. Course is amazing and some decent golf being pkayed.
Trains use horns to alert workers near to the live lines. Also at crossings when they have no signals to alert general public. Loving this vids!!

After watching Parts 1 & 2, the need for a Lochie Army "Dinky" was overwhelming. Can't wait to see if it makes a difference and wondering if he will end up with a power "lumpy" dinky replacement as well.
#lockeyarmy was there to help Coach out on that tee shot! Hiding in the trees!
That is a very cool golf course. I've played the RTJ trail in Huntsville a couple of times, and it has a Highlands mountain course, a river course, and an awesome 18 hole par 3 course. Tremendous 5 star courses at a very reasonable price.
I live in Madison, AL and have played the Huntsville RTJ courses many times. Fun courses to play.
No disrespect but Hamtpon Cove is probably the worst courses on the trail. It's not even close. Drive an hour and play the Shoals. 10 times better.
I second the Shoals. Or make a day trip out of it and play Grand National. Best golf on the trail imo
I loved the two RTJ's courses I've played at Dothan and Mobile Alabama, but, I found that the only level lies on the course were on the tee's. No level lies anywhere on the course or greens, never anywhere. Nice courses but you could hit great drive down the middle of any fairway and never have a level lie, I was always exclaiming WTF. Ah well, nice video Mark.

The Champions Tour used to play the Regions Tradition tournament at Ross Bridge but apparently moved it to a local private club, Greystone, because the seniors had difficulty handling the hilliness of Ross Bridge.
The Regions Tradition used to play at Shoals Creek, don't think Ross Bridge. Greystone is a great course.
It was the Regions Charity Classic, not the Tradition, at Ross Bridge. Something like '05-'08.

Sure the topline is the length of this course but put the length aside and examine the greens, water and hazards and it's a heck of a challenge on only those dimensions. BTW - where can we find the challenge? Minds are curious.

roger schuck Fans are for cooling greens down on hot summer days... Let the sprinklers run a revolution and fire up fans and you can drop surface temp of a green by up to 20°
Bentgrass greens don’t thrive in the warm southern summers; the fans are there to keep them cool.

For the next Augusta trip. Makes Ross Bridge feel like a gimmicky muni. I've played both more than once. Farmlinks is 2000 Tiger, greatness in every aspect. Ross Bridge is 2018 Rory, looks good but doesn't play well..
