Mahalo for the video! I'm a total beginner but listening to what you tell your students really helped me to not give up on the songs I'm working on right now. It's an absolute pleasure and joy to watch you play the Uke. Aloha. Haole Troy
Hi. Thank you for sharing this great tutorial video. I'd like to practice this song but unfortunately it seems the link of tabs are broken. Could you please check it?
Inspiring and fun. Thanks. I've been checking out the ukulele's at Hawaii Music and plan on ordering one soon. I'm still in the beginner stage, when I know a little more I'd like to take Skype lesson if you ever get time when I'm ready. You are such a good player!
Shoots mahalo whoa. Someone gave me a soprano ukulele cause I played old Hawaiian style slakkey. This video opened up everything for me. Mahalo plenty uncle. This was awesome.
Very nice but this song was first put out by Peter Moon, who the KCBoys acknowledge as a mentor. Just believe it's important to make sure people don't fail to give credit properly. Mahalo. R J
I first heard this song at UH Kanikapila at Andrews Amphitheater with Peter, Roland, and Robert when they were Sunday Manoa. Here's a tip about that 12th fret--fifth fret stretch: This has the same notes but playable by ordinary humans A 12 12 E 8 C 9
Aloha Austin! I'll probably post it eventually on my channel. I did these videos on the Hawaii Music Supply channel, but HawaiiMusicSchool is the one that I'm currently working on!
Hey I’m just starting to learn this song and I’ve been really stuck on the strumming pattern in the beginning, can you help me out? Like I am able to play the chords right and pluck the strings right but my timing is way off and doesn’t sound like how you’re playing it. Almost like after strumming down once after the first pluck of the 4th string, I pluck the 4th string again and tend to lose rythm Like in the up,down,up motions. It sounds out of place but I’m not sure why? Even though I’m trying my best at it. Any tips?
