If a relative of mine or if I were the victim of a crime, I would want the criminal to confess. Having said that, I don’t understand why any suspect would allow an interrogation to start without immediately requesting an attorney. This whole situation was sad and unnecessary.
When are people going to learn to stop talking when in an interrogation. I don’t care how much they say it, no cop/detective is “here to help”. Cop are 100% allowed to lie during an interrogation, they will say anything to get a confession.
