I own a charcoal suit and it is DARK as a piece of charcoal from the BBQ. This gentleman has a mid gray, fine wooled suit. I say, go for a fluffy flannel
Thank you for the very good content. He Spoke Style is the most knowledgeable men style channel!! I would love to see your way on how to combine blazers/sportcoats with jeans.
More on the way! I know my video guy, Ian, is going to be stoked for the compliment. He's already said that the next ones like this will be even better.
With that suit you can wear a white shirt and a deep red tie that has a subtle pattern. Or a white shirt and a gold or yellow patterned tie. Or how about a light blue and white striped shirt with a blue and gray patterned tie.
Great! You have some interesting choices. I subscribed! My first suit i bought was a charcoal from Loro Piana fabric. I tend to do semi formal and casual ( the 2nd is totally George Clooney and i love it ).
As you asked, i like mostly all but my favourite is the date night look because of the unique plaid shirt.I also like the suede jacket because it gives a good pop of color. My only critique is as you know I don't like sneakers and also that some of the outfits lacked colour, for example u used mostly white pocket squares. With a non color grey suits it be nice to show more color like with shoes, pocket square, ties, scarf etc..As you asked,I would like to see next a video into how to introduce greens, orange, yellows, light blue etc...in a tasteful way in your outfits. :)
Brian, i just watch you navy suit styling video. Which, in your opinion is more versatile and/or more essential...the classic gray suit or the classic navy suit?
Brian, I´ve been a follower on IG for a while, but I never noticed you were a watch guy. A state of the watch collection video would be awsome, even if those are the 3 only pieces in your collection (which I doubt)
He Spoke Style thank you so much. Last question. Do you suggest a charcoal grey suit for any age, or is something for a more adult guy? I mean, I am 23, could it be a good purchase for me? Or should I wait a few years more?
I probably should watch ur videos like everytime before i going to certain job interviews just to ensure that myself look decent 😂 and not to mention ur watch game is fire!
Hey Brian, what do you think of Hopsack as a fabric for both a charcoal suit or navy suit? I picked it for a navy 3 piece with lapels of the vest to dress it down. Getting a lot of mixed comments online regarding hopsack trousers
I wear burgundy tie with silver bicycles, light grey dress shirt, burgundy and charcoal striped socks, sand coloured double monk strap cap toe shoes, muted blue and grey hareing bone pocket square, silver tie bar, silver or mat finish cufflinks, black fedora.
hey brian how are you ? what kind of fabric you would recommed for a hot weather . im from kuwait and its really reeeeealy hot where in June/July it could easily reach 55 celcius on most days.
great video strait to the point ( loved that ) and excellent job on the details....I will subscribe to your channel and I will tell friends and family members to do so also EXCELLENT
He Spoke Style Thanks I'm excited to see that! Also, do you think a medium Brown like Bourbon or a lighter Brown like walnut would be suitable for a business look in a charcoal suit? Thanks
I really appreciate your suggestions for hop sack fabrication. How about doing a video on socks or undershirts and perhaps even on preferred underwear.
Not a big fan of the informal ties like in look number 2... I like the business look but with a bright red tie Could you do this video again? This time with navy blue, true blue and maybe double breasted suit jackets...
Formal means black tie and up. People just use the word to mean business wear generally. But here in the UK if it says formal on the dress code that means either black or white tie.
Hello, Sir. I already own a Royal Blue suit. It does have a little bit sheen to it, which I think was a bad fabric decision. Now I'm wishing that I should've gone with the evergreen and versatile Navy one. Anyways, I'm panning to get another one tailored, should I go with a Navy or a Charcoal one?
Good choice, looks very classy on you. I have a vintage DJ 1601 and going to get a new DJ 41. Anyway, your video and your taste just pure class man, cheers!
@@qarhsi While I do agree that a coat looks incomplete without a pocket square, but that phenomenon only applies if you're wearing a dress shirt with it. If you are wearing a turtleneck (especially in a colour such as black or dark charcoal grey) you definitely should lose the pocket square as it's just another additional accessory and it dresses up the entire look and takes away from the casual, and most importantly simple look of the turtleneck and suit combination.
@@hespokestyle thank you for taking the time to reply. Ofc the color is gray, i was just wondering if there is any specific way ti ask for this shade :)
That suit an extremely light shade of charcoal; almost a mid-grey. It's much more versatile than a dark charcoal suit.
I own a charcoal suit and it is DARK as a piece of charcoal from the BBQ. This gentleman has a mid gray, fine wooled suit. I say, go for a fluffy flannel
I live in the UK and our idea of "charcoal grey" is very dark, almost black. To me the suit in this video is mid grey
Killer production and editing! Oh, and the outfits are nice too ;)
Thanks, as always, Brock. Ian's already said, "we can do it better next time"!
The Modest Man ...I subscribe to both of you ..;-)... would brown shoes be ok with a gray suit ????

Thank you for the very good content. He Spoke Style is the most knowledgeable men style channel!!
I would love to see your way on how to combine blazers/sportcoats with jeans.
Thanks, Nikos! Appreciate the knowledgeable compliment. More on the way and thanks for the suggestion.
Please more!! Love the production quality :)
More on the way! I know my video guy, Ian, is going to be stoked for the compliment. He's already said that the next ones like this will be even better.
Nice to know something new!❤️
Excellent video, great value for us! Always a good way to pair a Grey suit in an unexpected way! Keep the good work.
You're very welcome. Thanks for the comment.
Charcoal Suit with burgandy tie, belt and shoes is my most complement suit.
Great choise...
And shirt?
@shahzadatif5567
Good question. I left that out.
Sky blue/baby blue shirt. I prefer; lightest color available. Not too rich in color.
@@1_Bad_Z thanks mate, I'm gonna go for the same 👍🏻

All of the looks of great ideas and and I have a charcoal gray suit that I was married then so thanks and it's my only suit so far
Great video. Lighter grey suit is next on my list :)
Milan Polívka excellent! Hope you get a good fit!
With that suit you can wear a white shirt and a deep red tie that has a subtle pattern. Or a white shirt and a gold or yellow patterned tie. Or how about a light blue and white striped shirt with a blue and gray patterned tie.
I like those a lot, especially the last 2 combos.
Great! You have some interesting choices. I subscribed! My first suit i bought was a charcoal from Loro Piana fabric. I tend to do semi formal and casual ( the 2nd is totally George Clooney and i love it ).
Glad to have you! And, Loro Piana? Nice pick!
Absolutely loved it!
Sifat Sartaj many thanks!
The turn up on the pants is beautiful. I really should have gotten my charcoal suit with the turn up on the trousers
Great looks, great production Brian!

Question ….. what style collar on a dress shirt do you recommend for wearing with a sport coat ? Love your channel !!!!!

I have gray suit like that and I just got myself brown leather boots....so would you think is ok to put them in together?
grey suits pair well with off-white shirt and bottle green tie too
those are great!
Brian, i just watch you navy suit styling video. Which, in your opinion is more versatile and/or more essential...the classic gray suit or the classic navy suit?
For me, navy all the way.
Brian, I´ve been a follower on IG for a while, but I never noticed you were a watch guy. A state of the watch collection video would be awsome, even if those are the 3 only pieces in your collection (which I doubt)
Eduardo Organista there will definitely be a watch collection video in the future! Appreciate your continued support.
Look 1 and 2 are my favorites
Good One.
Thanks!
I need to own one.
Good job, great video! For the casual outfit, how do we wear the turtleneck? tucked or untucked ?
StylEd Men you could do either. Depends on how thick the turtleneck is and also how confident you are!
He Spoke Style thank you so much. Last question. Do you suggest a charcoal grey suit for any age, or is something for a more adult guy? I mean, I am 23, could it be a good purchase for me? Or should I wait a few years more?
An absolute must have for any age.
I probably should watch ur videos like everytime before i going to certain job interviews just to ensure that myself look decent 😂 and not to mention ur watch game is fire!
Smooth.

Learned a lot from your videos. Thank u Brian. You are such an inspiration!
Hi!! I love all these outfits but... Im a little bit confused with the last black and grey shirt, do you really think this does fit in a suit..??
HeSpokeStyle can you please do 5 ways to wear a navy suit? I really loved this video about the dark grey suit
Lakendall Madlock that is high on the priority list
Hey Brian, what do you think of Hopsack as a fabric for both a charcoal suit or navy suit?
I picked it for a navy 3 piece with lapels of the vest to dress it down. Getting a lot of mixed comments online regarding hopsack trousers
Hopsack is a great fabric if you're looking for maximum versatility. Actually have a video coming out soon that talks about hopsack!
awesome looks.

Thanks, man! Link to everything is in the description!
I have learned something new today
I love your video and I lovr your style

hey brian how are you ? what kind of fabric you would recommed for a hot weather . im from kuwait and its really reeeeealy hot where in June/July it could easily reach 55 celcius on most days.
I guess its fashion for some folks, but I hate the short slacks.

Does the black necktie in the second outfit have a grenadine weave?
really well done vid! Can you do more of these like a navy suit?
Many thanks! Yes, navy suit version coming soon!
He Spoke Style Thanks I'm excited to see that! Also, do you think a medium Brown like Bourbon or a lighter Brown like walnut would be suitable for a business look in a charcoal suit? Thanks
You're talking about shoe color, I assume? If so, then yes, totally.
Nice video Brian, is it just me that finds Allen Edmonds a little too conservative? I usually go for cobbler union.
Noor Hussain not for me!
He Spoke Style ... would brown shoes be ok with gray suit ?
Alexis Knows great question. Hope he answers.

Hahaha. Thanks so much. Had me for a second!
"...with my rolex datejust..." Subtle but well-deserved brag!
Haha, wasn't trying to brag but appreciate that you didn't view it as snobbish. I worked hard and saved for that watch.
He Spoke Style I'm just messing! But I agree. Anyone who has worked to that point in their career gets my respect. That's a big milestone. Congrats!
Ah, no worries, my man! Cheers.

Can anyone tell me the colour of shoes at 0:48 with charcoal grey suit.
Charcoal grey suit, clean denim western shirt, clean polished cowboy boots
Gray suit with white shoes (air force 1 low)?
Is it ok to wear a charcoal grey suit on your graduation please
Not a big fan of the informal ties like in look number 2...
I like the business look but with a bright red tie
Could you do this video again? This time with navy blue, true blue and maybe double breasted suit jackets...
Definitely doing more of these transformation videos. Navy blue suit is up next!
Semi formal vs formal is basically the same, 99% of the world will still see you as formally dressed.
True. Unless you're talking black tie.
Great looks anyways!
Formal means black tie and up. People just use the word to mean business wear generally. But here in the UK if it says formal on the dress code that means either black or white tie.
How about a bluish grey suit ?
I would go with navy. No sheen to the fabric. Either a nice "four season" wool or hopsack.
@@hespokestyle Thanks for your suggestion! I appreciate that. I adore your content and style! ❤️
What kind of pants are these
Whith color the gery suit have?
Great Video man! BTW, which Datejust were you wearing in the Video, the classic 36mm or Datejust 41?
Thanks, man! It's a classic 36. Ref. 116234.

Thanks, man. I have a small wrist so the 41mm is a complete no-go for me! Congrats on your impending acquisition!
Amazing outfits! I recently subscribed to your channel and your entire style is something I am trying to go for.
Amazing! Really appreciate that, Leo. Glad to have you!
The first look and the date night look. Also the white Common Projects. Drip too hard. 💧💧💧
Nice
Thanks! Appreciate the comment.
When you wear the turtleneck, you should lose the pocket square
Why???? In my humble opinion it adds to the look....it gives it a cool sophisticated look...peace and love to all
disagree...always a plus to have a pocket square. a jacket looks "incomplete" without one
Nah

While I do agree that a coat looks incomplete without a pocket square, but that phenomenon only applies if you're wearing a dress shirt with it. If you are wearing a turtleneck (especially in a colour such as black or dark charcoal grey) you definitely should lose the pocket square as it's just another additional accessory and it dresses up the entire look and takes away from the casual, and most importantly simple look of the turtleneck and suit combination.
@@azizquadri5824 you make a decent point here but I guess there is no right or wrong. I'll still opt for the square. Cheers!
Will a blue oxford shoes match grey suits?
Sure. Grey is a very neutral tone.
Grey suits look best on men with grey hair. I don’t have that yet.
Black tie, semi formal? A touch funereal don’t you think?
Where can you get the turtleneck? Thanks
Uniqlo ---> bit.ly/2RAyAjO
Best ways to wear chinos.
Arnav Sengupta roger that!
it never makes sense to me to wear suit pants as separates. Pants wear out faster than jackets. One should just have some odd slacks/trousers
Can we do a white suit?
In a linen and to wear during the summer for a specific occasion, should be okay.
No belts?
What is the color/fabric/mill of the suit?
Dormeuil. And, it's grey, obviously...
@@hespokestyle thank you for taking the time to reply. Ofc the color is gray, i was just wondering if there is any specific way ti ask for this shade :)
What are the fabric details of this suit? Is it an worsted wool with a specific weave like birdseye?
It's by Dormeiul. Classic worsted.
do you tuck your turtleneck while wearing a suit ?
Sometimes, yes. I think it can look especially good if you have side adjusters instead of belt loops. A very clean look.
Really wish I could afford that Rolex date just
