Long time subscriber but sadly also a long time not viewer of your channel. The last part has nothing to do with you, but with my own shifting interests and it sometimes takes two years until I come full circle and get back to miniatures for example. But maybe I can share some perspective of what makes me often loose interest in a channel while still interested in the specific niche. I enjoy TH-cam, because you often get invited into a persons home who shares your interests and I watch a video while maybe painting or sculpting or whatever. It feels quite personal and this is what I mostly enjoy in this medium. But a lot of growing channels start to loose themselves, loose this private and personal flair. The microphones are getting better, the Camera setup aswell, then the Sponsorings start and often those TH-camrs get involved with other projects, start merch, own products and somehow, slowly but surely it becomes a professional show. All of a sudden a tipp about an amazing paint or model, about a tool or service isn‘t believable. Is it because they sent these shiny items that get used for a video for free or because they really are good? Do they make these videos purely for the algorithm gods or is it because of joy in the hobby? And I totally get the reasons behind this, but it sometimes turns me more and more away from that channel and back to more personal ones, small, tiny channels. And that is not with all professional TH-camrs. I totally enjoy high production value content and I gladly watch sponsoring segments - it often is a question of how this is handled. As I said, I stopped watching your content for a while because I was engaged in quite a lot of other things and far away from anything miniature, painting or tabletop. So my observations above are not responsible for my absence here, but maybe this little insight into a viewers mind helps a bit. And I now look forward to seeing your content more often again in the future.
Dont get discouraged. Good times allows art and creativity to flourish. Bad times will diminish peoples creativity. Most people have to work 2 jobs just to get by and barely have any time for friends and family let alone hobbies. This dark period will pass
Bear in mind people in 2020-21 had waaaay more free time due to the pandemic so don't get discouraged if views are somewhat down. But I wish you the best anyways, I love ur vids.
Well how the TH-cam system has always worked is the more often you upload the more likely they are to recommend videos, same goes with getting new subs and the opposite goes when people unsub
Nah. I help manage a pretty decent sized channel that is the size of Miniacs. Our views have gone up and surpassed our 2019-21 levels. The thing that changed was we got 2 new editors and are able to push even more videos out faster. How often you upload and how much of a video is actually viewed are the main two thing that ups your views. The algo will recommend your content more because a frequent upload schedule paired with a higher average duration means more ad runs and more money YT generates.
Honestly 2020 was such a bizarre timewarp that i genuinely think it would be better if you don't look at it when looking at metrics. With so many people in quarantine and picking up new hobbies (like this) it created this bubble that can never ever be kept up with as people's lives have gone on to their new normals.
Hey bud. Wanted to offer my "2 cents" in absence of the survey. And because I've been a long-time fan (but is also one who fell off the wagon somewhere), I'd love to see you come back hitting hard, and bc its 12am and I'll be up all night this quick comment has turned into a letter I'd love to send you. Or if you're up late or insomniac like me, would love to chat. Anything I can do to help. I have a pretty mixed background: banking/fraud, marketing, digital arts, IT (electronics, support, databases, programming), had my own business repairing iPhones 100 years ago so I know about Google Adsense etc. lol So any place I might email this letter to? And hang in there! -M
Pandemic - marketing - GW killing off most of the models I've bought and painted. GW have made about £3000 of models I've bought non-legal for competition since 2021. The majority of the more recent were bought between 2014-2017. I've been into the hobby since 1987 and Warhammer Fantasy. I don't think a lot of the new generation of kids who get bought Warhammer are looking for complex painting tips. They are certainly not being taught patience or investment.
Mannn, I hear you. :/ I think a lot of us craft/hobby type channels did well during the "lockdown" phase. A return to somewhat "regular life" with the worst inflation in a couple of decades has naturally shifted priorities. (My Patreon is down 40% over the past year.) I'm glad you'll still be active, homie!
Inflation doesn’t just impact what we can give on Patreon, etc. When we can’t afford minis & tools, we can’t paint along, and I’m mostly here to learn about things I can also do. Love you, CrafsMan!
Miniac I fell in love with your channel because you combined the things I loved: painting space marines, painting fantasy villains, heavy metal music, and a care-free but varied attitude towards the hobby.
The attention to detail doesnt go unnoticed. We have vastly different painting styles and aesthetics, but I always come back to your channel. You were one of the first mini/hobby channels I found. Stay rad duder!
As a subscriber, that consistent upload is really important. I think that I am talking for a lot of us when I say that seeing a video is like going to get a coffe with a friend. It is something we can rely on and reserve a part of our day for video. Sometimes we see it right away, sometimes day or few later. When videos are inconsistant, we kind of forget about it...
Agreed, there's a TH-cam called north of the border who sculpts weird stuff, he uploads every Friday and it's so consistent it's something I look to each Friday
@@snowy5628 I've noticed this as well with regular uploads. Like the WW2 weekly on Saturday or Korean War weekly nowadays on a Tuesday and some car channels like Auto Alex and TDC upload on a regular basis. Getting your "fans" for a lack of a better term to look forward and expect a video on a certain day is probably a double edged sword with having to get a video out but it definitely seems to have its advantages.
Years back I owned thousands of models, and maybe one or two were painted. I found your channel and you introduced me to the hobby community on youtube. Thanks to your videos I now have over 6 fully painted armies, a warcry warband, a bloodbowl team, and various other models. You were the one that inspired me to start. As long as you are making content, I will keep watching it.
Hey bud, the thing I want most is for you to continue to enjoy this hobby. You inspired me to shake off the rust and dust and to elevate my art. I want you to proceed in a way that allows you to avoid burnout. This should be a source of enjoyment for you and your viewer base. We love you and appreciate you, keep up the great work, but don't let this stuff ruin the hobby for you.
Miniac is my first stop when looking for a painting tutorial. Engaging, usually concise and very well put together. Personally, I am more inclined to watch a turorial that is closer to 15 mins than 30. Love your channel and I hope you continue to prosper.
Scott what drew me to your channel when I first started paint was your beginner guides as I have grown as a painter what draws my attention now is just someone sitting down painting a model and talking about there process while I watch them paint.. one of the reasons why I watch most of Jon’s videos I can usually count on him to be painting something.. your entertaining man but I feel like you need to paint more minis
Video you referred to at 12:20 was my fav. I love the humour and heavy metal vibe. Love advanced techniques shown, but helping a noob and answering his real time questions was suuuper helpful. Thanks bro! All the best on one of my fav channels
@@beerenmusli8220 of him calling historical players "nacys"? in his channel. the other, his words, a guess from a lot of players, redit and discord servers where his ex-wive talked etc, but real proof, i dont knoiw
@@beerenmusli8220 of him calling historical players "nancys" on the vid, if im not wrong, after the backlash he deleted it. of him cheating? im not sure. lots of people claim his ex-wife talked in reddt/discord/etc
Not that I dont like shorter form content, but when I actually have the time to sit down for an hour it's really enjoyable to watch a longer form video.
Expanding on the poll, I think consistency absolutely matters. When the channel is consistent, you develop a habit, you start to look forward to "Watching Miniac video on Friday" or whatever. But when a channel is random, and especially when the gap between videos starts to count several weeks and months - you kind of forget about the channel. And when it eventially comes out - it basically feels like a disturbance of my routine. It's like "Great, now I need to make time to watch that video". Because my lifestyle has already shifter to having something else occupy that timeslot. So yeah, you're absolutely right. On the topic of whiplash - personally, there're just topics that I'm interested in and those that I'm not. I don't have friends to play miniature games with, so any gaming-related content is not really interesting for me. But I'm down to hear you out on the new tools, paint ranges, model lines, or painting tutorials. Don't care about if sponsors are hobby-related or not, but yeah, be careful. There are companies like BetterHelp or Established Titles that are doing A LOT of promotions but in fact are a literal scam that cost people money, time, and, in case of BetterHelp, give abhorrent mental health advice. You should always screen your new sponsors for controversy. I really watch yours, Ninjon's, Vince's and others channels for two things: to learn new techniques and for inspiration on color schemes, techniques, etc. That's my main reason. Maybe you should focus on more techniques. I often find your painting videos kind of same-y, and that makes sense because you have an established preference for painting techiques that work for you and you would use them on most things. But maybe you should add more variety? I mean, why not make a speedpaint video with tips and tricks how to make it better? You can even just use it for basecoat and then layer and highlight with normal paints. Or use dry brushing, sponge, something else? You may not be the best pro in the world when it comes to those techiques, but I'm sure you can add important perspective. I've probably watched 10 different drybrushing tutorials and each of them has something useful that others don't.
That depends on a content creator. BardicBroadcasts may be releasing only a few videos a year (or even less), but people who are watching him always check back. Creating a habit of watching same guy on the same day is not mentally healthy, for both of you.
I've been watching you since 2018 or 19. What set you apart from other painting youtubers at the time was your quality standards. But you also taught a lot of time saving techniques. Taking shortcuts but still achieving high quality results is what I look for from your channel. The competition painting is cool, but it's not as applicable to my regular mini painting use. At the end of the day I just want the best results I can manage with the little free time I have to paint. Your recent army painting and warband painting videos have really captured that old feeling. Relatable and relevant.
You just popped up in my feed for the first time in forever, I'm not watching anywhere near as much hobby stuff as I used to. But I just clicked on it and remembered why I enjoy watching your videos so much, you're just fund to watch. Stay cool and best of luck with the renewed vigor!
So funnily enough, these long form videos where you’re not even painting and just talking about what’s going on with your life and your channel are one of my favorite kinds of videos
I can vouch for the fact that your content has been not algorithm friendly. I watch your videos when they pop up, but they hadn't popped up in a while. This is the first video in recent memory that I've seen suggested to me. I love the content, just don't think to find you unless I'm looking for a specific painting tech video. Love the content man, keep it coming.
Why not hit the notification so you can watch his videos when they come out? Don’t rely on the algorithm. If you genuinely enjoy a channel, do what you can to support them
Bro, you taught me so much in color theory, contrasts and so many other great painting tips and base ideas!!! Honestly got me through a lot of COVID with the Tau id paint watching and learning from your videos and other TH-camrs :)
I'd just like to say that I'm French and you're pretty easy to understand, I like your content, not a pecific video but the tutorials are my favourites. And also your full steps paintings. Keep Thinking of the non native speakers who follow you ( and we are legion) .
Very cool and mature of you to address what's going on with your channel, making adjustments and being transparent with the fans about it. Much appreciated
I am super stoked on anything you produce! Scott you and Jon and Emil and Vince are the reason I paint and try to improve. I am super stoked that you’re working hard on improving and strengthening your bottom line. Keep it up!!
I'm probably in the anomaly of TH-cam viewers, but I have always loved how varied your content has been. It's always been in the miniature atmosphere, but the different topics are always interesting to me. That being said, I watch your videos no matter what, so I'll still be here for a more focused channel as well. Keep up the awesome work!
You are so back!!! LFG!! Even though this wasn’t a mini painting video, I’m so down with all the ideas/thoughts you had. Seems like it all makes perfect business sense.
Can't believe what I just saw... a youtuber, 100% open and honest! It's SO appreciated. I really love your channel. You've inspired and taught me so much about minis. Keep it up! Merry Christmas from the UK .... off to paint more minis! :D
I would love to fill out the Survey, but I am getting an error "We're sorry. You can't access this item because it is in violation of our Terms of Service." Anyone else running into the same issue?
I found your channel back in 2020 and really liked how you were able to take high level concepts being them down to a beginner level, anytime a painter of your level can talk and show us beginners that small easy things bring your painting up so many levels it makes the whole painting process less intimidating and more obtainable. Loving the more consistent content.
Filling out the 'favourite video' section reminded me of how much I love your colour theory vid. I legitimately think of the lessons there almost every time I paint a mini! It seems pretty popular too, it currently has 666k views. Would love more content like that
It’s not really mini related. But one of my favourite videos is when you built your gaming coffee table. It wasn’t the best built table, but the mistakes and learning opportunities were hilarious to follow along to.
Miniac, you are one of the biggest reasons that I am even in the hobby. You inspired me so much with your art and videos that I jumped head first into painting minis. I am so glad that you are posting more regularly and are revamping (😉😉) your channel. Looking forward to what's to come.
Wishing you all the best on your plans for changes. Honestly, this reminded me of why I started watching your videos in the first place. Love the honesty and the innovation. Good stuff.
I clicked the link for the survey and got an error message saying I "can't access this item because it is in violation of our terms of service." Happens in multiple browsers.
YT is kind of a beast. Everybody peaks, and I’ve heard YT does have a period of time after which they promote you less. Topic interest fades. Topic interest gets more competitive. A lot of YTs either burnout by themselves or become a small business. I see you have chosen the latter. Definitely stay consistent, pursue your passions when you can and try not to let every stat and performance kill your spirit.
Posting consistently is the only way to do TH-cam now as a business. Would love to see you focus on your Dark Eldar and Vampire count’s armies and get more units for those painted up, would hopefully be a fairly easy load of videos to shoot too
My favorite part of your content has always been just watching you paint. Same goes for every other wargaming channel on TH-cam I follow, I just like watching talented people paint cool minis
Glad yo have you back full time. You're one of the guys who taught me how to paint minis back in the covid days. Look forward to seeing lots more of you
The problem with being an artist is a desire to change. TH-cam is a place where repetition is more successful. I forgot to say do whatever I'm here for it.
I don't watch your channel, but I see the name around and it stuck in my head (ADHD problem); so sometimes I'll be sitting at home looking at some random object like a banana and think "itsnotagundam".
Your videos kept me wanting to keep trying to actually get better at painting. So, from someone who has wanted to quit painting several times but keeps pushing thru because of your videos. Thank you so much.
So a big thing that drew me to your channel was those how to technique vids, now I spend less time looking into techniques I'm not great at but just trying them and less hobby time in general means less time on hobby research...
I’ve been around since I was a young lad to a young man. Glad to hear you are coming back to more regular content. Can’t wait to see what chapter comes next for you miniac.
I've been a fan for a while, coming from a Gunpla hobby who is interested in painting. During the pandemic is when I discovered and binge watched your videos and had many inspiration to build and paint "bases" for my kits. It's great that you will again make more videos. Kudos! 🎉🎉🎉
All wargaming channels that go big start to feel like they only put out out videos just to include the ads (or sell STLs lol) and not for the content they want to do. Also everyone is so focused on Warhammer that all wargaming channels feel the same even though they are so many amazing games out there. Regarding sponsorships. At best, wargaming companies are just getting by, and with all the content creators, giving free advertising to a multi-billion dollar company doesn't really help.
Peachy is capitalising on non gw content and man do I love him for it! So sick of wArHamMUuRrr 40KaY everywhere. It's like people would only eat a burguer if it's macDonalds when there's so much better alternatives in that menu xD
If at all possible, I’d love to see more collaborations between yourself and Ninjon - You guys have great chemistry and compliments each other perfectly! Beyond that, I honestly just want to follow your passion projects - It comes through so clearly when you’re excited about something, and with the quality of videos, it’s generally just a great experience to watch!
I really don't paint or play Warhammer but I still poke my head in now and again, partly because I think this stuff is cool and partly because I like you as a content creator. You're thoughtful, experienced, and seem like you're enjoying yourself. Keep it up.
Love your content and style my man! You motivated me in 2020 to turn my gray pile into a beautiful group of models. It truly is an ever evolving style and hobby.
I've been on and off hobbying due to my job not really providing the time or space for it all the time. But I have always felt connected to that part of my life through your videos. Thanks for what you do Miniac.
Hey Scott, Longtime viewer of your channels. First time commenter. I would like to say that I am here because of you. Watching your videos over the years it is like visiting a friend. You, Jon, Vince, Sam it's why I watch all of your stuff. I put it on while I am painting, working, reading whatever I am doing at the time. I feel a lot of the mini painters out there are introverts and are here for similar reasons. Human beings require connection with other human beings for their mental stability. Keep making the content you want to make and that you feel passionate about, the viewers will keep coming back. 2020-2021 was a weird time for all of us and I am sure spiked your channel growth. Most of us have returned to the daily grind and I am sure do not have as much time to sit around and as my wife so elegantly puts it "watching paint dry". In lieu of filling out the survey that is unavaiable I want to take this time to thank you for the content you have put out and the many things I have learned from you. If it was not for you and the aforementioned painters I discovered watching your channel I would not be able to paint miniatures to the quality I can today. (Not that I am that good, But I am happier with my work than I was before discovering your channel.) Thank you and keep up the good work.
Thank you for being so transparent. What you talked about in the video reflects my own viewership. It has ebbed and flowed over the last few years, but I think over the last few months have been some the best you have made. Just seems like you have more enthusiasm and joy for what you have been putting out of late.
Totally appreciate your candidness of this video. You are a staple in the Mini painting community so you can never die, only to be resurrected! I also love your basic fundamental painting videos. Even though you've done them already, just rehash them with some new upcoming models and slightly different viewpoints. Id watch em all. Keep on going!
Uncle Adam has said it for years that his channel really took off, once we went to the every Friday format. Good luck with the new direction. I’ll be here to watch it all.
I used to have a lot more time to engage in hobby time, but things have changed over the last year. However, I have recently 'rediscovered' your channel after not being recommended them for quite a while. It helps that I've also started dedicating more time to the hobby and looking for stuff to watch. Love your channel! I am also a dark eldar and vampire counts afficionado
Firstly, having just finished delivering my own Kickstarter I feel you and secondly just add "You won't believe..." "Do this one trick...."to your video titles 😅
That's not true, heh. I'm working a pretty similar amount - just focusing less on individual videos. You'll notice how the average run time of my videos has gone down since making this change.
I've been watching your channel for a number of years. What brings me back to your videos is your mixture of humour, subject matter and welcoming attitude you have to your audience. Looking forward to the next phase.
You've got this Scott! It's a tough gig and you inspire us with all your videos, so keep learning and adapting, excited for what the future has in store!
Your channel has been one of my favorites for a long time. I enjoy these peeks behind the curtain to see what's going on, and I am excited to see your new commitment to growth and to see that paying off. Well done!
Tried filling out the survey but keep getting "violates terms of use agrrement" from google. So glad your asking the community their opinion. Keep dojng what your doing Scott, started watching your channel about a year ago when i thought I'd give mini painting a go. Loving the nore consistent content. ❤
I start painting looking your videos the same when I add airbrush to my toolkit. After that I found a lot more of TH-camrs on miniature painting, but when I really want to learn something or look for another point of view I use your channel. I don’t know anything about TH-cam or the amount of viewers you need to continue with you content but for me this is the best miniature painting channel. Definitely is not the one with more content but is the one with more valuable content. I hope you find the way to keep in on!
All channels are going "downward" because the algorithm ONLY promotes creators who are making SHORTS. My recommendation is post as many shorts as you can. Always have loved the channel and I'm still bitter about how GW treated you a few years back.
It's also easy to get your feed saturated. Once you cross the threshold into feeling like it's a chore to watch everything that came out that week then you stop watching.
Dude I love the wide range of topics your videos cover. I did start watching for paint tutorials but now it's like checking out a good friends channel every week or so
There’s a reason every single big content creator will tell you consistency is the most important thing when starting a channel. I’m glad you’re coming back Miniac, I was most inspired by you to get into the hobby and I’ve missed you.
I've loved the varied topics. At the core the channel has stayed true to the path of being for hobbyists. I love the open honesty that this video shares with the viewership. Keep on bangin.
Congrats. Love your channel. It’s a lot of work to do that and I think you’re professionalising, hope this just increases your enjoyment from doing this and helping us out on our hobby journey.
Hey Scott! Love your videos. I don't really paint anymore but I still enjoy watching. I enjoy the way you speak about the hobby and watching you paint is very cathartic almost. Wishing for success for you in the future with whatever changes you make. Keep on kicking ass.
Love Your Channel and wish you all the best with the changes. Can't consume conntend longer than 15 min at the moment and don't have much time to paint but someday that will change again.
You’re still my favorite painter on TH-cam. I haven’t been able to paint for the last couple of years (school and work, ugh), but when I’m able to resume, the first place I’m going is your early videos for a refresher!
Legit one of the top 3 channels I turn to for painting and energy towards the hobby. I'm into aircraft and car models but I still come here for advice and a good laugh.
I watch your videos because I like your content. I've learned so much in the past two years and I owe alot of it to the youtube mini painting community. Thank you so much!
One thing that I’ve always appreciated about you is your honesty and integrity when it comes to your content. Your passion truly shines through and I hope it stays lit for many years to come!
Respect to you. I enjoy your work and watch your vids when they come out. Wishing the best. Please let us all know when you get the survey issue worked out.
I have loved everything that you have done. I love the different content. My painting journey changes as I get better at painting, I will go back and see videos that I need to watch to help with a problem in painting that I need. I loved the visit you had with monument hobbies and I love learning techniques that I learn. What I love the most is the fact that I learned that we live in the same town and how the community within the painting world. When I see content creators that I follow suddenly appear in videos together and give shout out to each other I know that there is a respect and family that supports each other in a hobby that I want to invest time and money into. I am excited for you as you journey through this project. I can't imagine the difficulty you have. I'm a fan and follower, keep up the amazing content.
Thanks for walking us through the channel's progress over the last few years, and I can't wait to keep seeing more of you on a regular schedule - seriously! Your balance of honest humour and excellent miniature painting advice is what makes this channel unique
Love your work. One of the things I enjoy is that you aren't focused on a single brand or theme of minis. I can't afford to test out all the different brands whether they're big names or boutique brands so it's awesome to experience that variety through you.
Here’s a fun fact: this is the first video of yours that I’ve watched from beginning to end. I got bored with the face painting with a beginner video. BUT this came up on my video queue so I watched this, and that’s funny, because I’ve listened to you and Jon for about 6 months now working through the whole TUP back catalogue. I’m up to May 2023.
Mr. Hercule Poirot, I will say that you’ve been my favourite hobby channel since I started in the hobby in 2018-2019, whenever it was. Even though your style and content has changed throughout the years, it’s been a fun adventure to watch your passions unfold. You do you, brother!
Survey is down right now, but I want to specifically say that you are by a wide margin the mini painter that has gotten me to get out of my comfort zone of being a bad mini painter and strive to improve. I started with Necrons, because they were so easy to paint, but as I picked up more and more minis I have been trying new techniques that I almost always first saw on this channel. You truly are an inspiration, to me at least. Never stop being awesome.
Long time watcher here. You've been one of the reasons why I just recently got into the hobby finally and the times something clicked for me in that short timespan, from things you taught me years ago is astonishing. You and all the other, great creators for the hobby or any creative outlet make the entry for someone like me absolutely more enjoyable but also easy. Thanks for that. Furthermore, I love the new energy and drive to try new formats and video types. It's exactly the content i prefer to watch - I'll never say no to see you paint tho, thats for sure! ;)
Love the transparency dude. I really find your channel to be the most enjoyable hobby related channel to watch for me. I appreciate you're approach to the hobby and how you try new stuff. Plus I think you're editing and vibe is top shelf. Keep it up man! Wish nothing but the best for ya bud.

This is accurate
But I thought the graph showed a decline in views in the 2020-2021 period?

I have a pretty mixed background: banking/fraud, marketing, digital arts, IT (electronics, support, databases, programming), had my own business repairing iPhones 100 years ago so I know about Google Adsense etc. lol
So any place I might email this letter to? And hang in there!

I'm so loving the weekly updates! You're killing it!
You do know we are waiting for the Squidmar Miniac Collab, right?
@@Xiv2022 We have done one waaay back. And there was plans for another with Jazza in the mix as well that unfortunately, never ended up happening.
you're my favourite youtuber
My dude, been great to see your channel grow over the years!
I am deeply honored. That's such a special person to be to anyone, let alone Miscast Trent.
we're in the same boat
Pandemic - marketing - GW killing off most of the models I've bought and painted.
GW have made about £3000 of models I've bought non-legal for competition since 2021. The majority of the more recent were bought between 2014-2017.
I've been into the hobby since 1987 and Warhammer Fantasy.
I don't think a lot of the new generation of kids who get bought Warhammer are looking for complex painting tips. They are certainly not being taught patience or investment.
Mannn, I hear you. :/
I think a lot of us craft/hobby type channels did well during the "lockdown" phase.
A return to somewhat "regular life" with the worst inflation in a couple of decades has naturally shifted priorities. (My Patreon is down 40% over the past year.)
I'm glad you'll still be active, homie!
❤❤ same so happy to see you back scott
Did someone say villain?
Ditto
The attention to detail doesnt go unnoticed. We have vastly different painting styles and aesthetics, but I always come back to your channel. You were one of the first mini/hobby channels I found. Stay rad duder!
Exactly
As a subscriber, that consistent upload is really important. I think that I am talking for a lot of us when I say that seeing a video is like going to get a coffe with a friend. It is something we can rely on and reserve a part of our day for video. Sometimes we see it right away, sometimes day or few later. When videos are inconsistant, we kind of forget about it...
Exactly this, I have a few youtubers like ninjon and Matt colville and MrRhexx that I just fall asleep listening to
Agreed, there's a TH-cam called north of the border who sculpts weird stuff, he uploads every Friday and it's so consistent it's something I look to each Friday
@@snowy5628 Nice to see another fan of tiny, nerdy things!
Plus it seems like the subscriptions tab sometimes skips over channels that don't upload very often
I love you 'testing and teaching' videos. You have a unique style which comes out no matter what you are showing. MORE OF THAT
Years back I owned thousands of models, and maybe one or two were painted. I found your channel and you introduced me to the hobby community on youtube. Thanks to your videos I now have over 6 fully painted armies, a warcry warband, a bloodbowl team, and various other models. You were the one that inspired me to start. As long as you are making content, I will keep watching it.
👑
You're genuine and likeable and talented, people just want to see more of you!
@Sakurajima616 how is yours? Oh wait you're sad and lonely basement dweller. Nevermind.

I like consistency. That does not mean in the content, just in how often you upload. Last year I forgot you existed.
Dude, I absolutely love this video. Not a lot of creators out there telling us why they’re doing what they are, you’re a man of the people Mr Poirot.
Mad respect for the transparency

Love it! keep up the great work. I'll be here no matter where you go with the channel, I just love the energy.
Your survey was taken down by google for a 'violation of terms of service'. Just letting you know that it is no longer accessible.
REVAMPING YES

Full intro in a video? What is this? 2022?
I likes the intro. And that og outro music omg never stop it.

I don't care about the direction this channel takes as long as it stays moist!
Warhammer is very unfortunately the only game that can get clicks. Big shame, there’s far greener pastures.
Peachy is capitalising on non gw content and man do I love him for it! So sick of wArHamMUuRrr 40KaY everywhere. It's like people would only eat a burguer if it's macDonalds when there's so much better alternatives in that menu xD
Uhm, aktually. The sculpts from games workshop are amazing.@syd4890
You are by far my favorite hobby youtuber and the one I most consistently watch. You are the reason I got into the hobby in the first place.
Keep it up.
I just want to see you.

Love your content and style my man! You motivated me in 2020 to turn my gray pile into a beautiful group of models. It truly is an ever evolving style and hobby.
Everytime i hopw for the paint cup intro
I don’t think content whiplash is a major issue tbh. I personally enjoy the variety with your videos, and it’s part of why I keep coming back.
Stop the clickbait, make content you really care about and the audience will care about it too
I've been on and off hobbying due to my job not really providing the time or space for it all the time.
@6:10 Scott hates St. Anger confirmed
Same!
I’m here for every video. You’ve helped me a lot with my painting journey.
The way you are unabashedly honest about how things are either going well or hitting the fan is why I love this channel
It's exactly the content i prefer to watch - I'll never say no to see you paint tho, thats for sure! ;)
I have loved the resurgence this channel is going through. Keep up the great work Scott!
