- I just returned from Costa Rica, where I underwent Stem Cell Therapy. The results are already coming in, and I’m excited to share them with you.
In my quest to personally defeat aging, I’m always looking into the latest strategies, therapies, and interventions, and I’ve been following what’s been happening in the field of regenerative medicine for a while now. And a procedure that has caught my attention is stem cell therapy. I know of several people who’ve had it done and they all seem to rave about it.
So, I jumped on it when the chance came up to experience it for myself.
In today’s video, I go into detail about my experience at the Regenerative Medicine Institute in San Jose, Costa Rica. I’ll explain why I decided that I needed stem cell therapy, the prep work I underwent in advance, and the testing that I did. Then I’ll go into the treatment itself, and I’ll share what procedures I had done. I’ll wrap it up by talking about the report that I got back from RMI, the recommendations that they made, and the results that I’m already seeing.

I went to Stemgenex in 2018 and it literally changed my life. I regained loss of feeling in my fingers that I didn't think I'd ever get back. It completely changed my MS diagnoses. Dr. Lallande is a God send 🙌 🙏
Where you go exactly and how much approx?
I am 69 now. In 2015 i had stem cells transplant in my knees, because i could no longer stand the pain, due to osteoarthtitis, esp during the night. The cells were from the umbilical cord.
I also had a pain in my rt shoulder during the night. The day i had my first lot of injections, the pain in my shoulder went away to thiis day. I am eternally grateful to God for it.
They told me it will take a few months for the therapy to work. Three weeks later i got second lot of jabs. My left knee healed pretty quickly and the rt one took a bit longer.
Two years plus later i started having awfull pain in my rt knee during the night. Meds worked for 2 - 3 hours and the pain would wake me up. I was desperate. I prayed and asked God to heal me. I also prayed to lose a few kgs and for my fatty liver.
A few days later i got the message CUT OUT SUGAR. I always get it as a thought, and i know it's not my thought, because it surprises me. I thought the sugar thing applies to losing weight and the fatty liver.
I did cut sugar out and a week later i had no more pain and stiffness. So, the sugar thing applied to knees as well. My doctor said he had never heard of it. I carried on without sugar and kept losing weight. Christmas came and i cheated. The pain and stiffness came back. Back to no sugar. I didn't understand why sugar had that effect on the joints, esp not even doctors knew about it.
I asked God for an answer and He replied. Soon after i found a video on YT about sugar and how bad it is for us and in this case for my joints. Sugar produces fibrin in the sinovial fluid and that causes pain and stiffness. This dr did a research and found out abt it, but my British educated doctors never heard about it.
I still have damaged cartilage in my rt knee, but it's bearable, unless i have sweets. I eat fruit and i am ok.
Glory to God for showing me what was causing my pain. The rest is in my hands.
I have personally experienced what you are saying about sugar and pain. I love my chocolate but it is like a drug and does a lot of damage. I have been fasting and cutting out just overeating in general. One main meal a day and fruit, salads and soups. I definitely see the difference and have more energy and less pain. I also get similar messages to you, “Ask and you shall receive “ there are answers to problems everywhere, you just have to find them and sometimes they also appear out of nowhere!

Affects everyone differently depending on your genetic type. Also the type and quality of the sweets and amount.
My Dad is 92 eats his ice cream every nite and loves his choc chip cookies. He plays golf 3x a week and is relatively pain free.
Praying and a sunny hopeful outlook help you. But both doing your own research and asking a lot of questions with care and caution (of course) can bring surprises! There are so much research going on. Wish you the best.

I have see an old man that had so many heart surgery that caused multiple scars, that when he needed another heart surgery he could not find a doctor willing to preform it, he ended up getting into an experimental treatment at a university that got cells from his noes and ears and grew them in the laboratory, they then injected them directly into his heart that repaired his heart to the point even the scaring had disappeared and even his brain and hair showed repair, and when he came out from his treatment he came out saying he had not felt so good even as a teenager jumping in the air clicking his heals showing how good he felt, he was 85yrs old, was truly amazing results.

It was done in a University in America, but there are more advanced stem cell treatments being done in Mexico you can look up online.

The ears and the nose are the only part of the body that continues to grow your entire life, it was said was why the chose them, I am not a scientist and are just talking about what the report showed about it, and yes like all technologies that could extend life, or truly benefit humanity they are suppressed and never seen again, so don;t blame me just stating a fact.

I have Parkinsons Disease at the age of 62. I am physically active and my job is physical. Long story short, I've been very activem9st of my life, with the exception of a few years of alone of moving cross country helping my dying mother and losing several pets to old age

I have a background in Ayurveda and Panchakarma therapies which can be a form of rejuvenation when taken over a long period of time. And that's the thing, one needs a big time commitment.
And something I've wanted to do for a long time, but again because of the time commitment, can't do.

Great review Lance, thank you. I understand that Golden Seal ( I prefer the leaf as it is more gentle) also helps to clean out senescent cells. I take it any time I'm feeling a little off or bloated which is usually every 1 to 2 weeks before bedtime with some yogurt (my favorite yogurt is Triple Zero by Aikos brand) to help digest it and soothe the stomach. Let me open with 2 important details… I am an emergency rm nurse with over 20 yrs experience and I just (rec’ cells April 4th 2022) completed an autologous stem cell transplant for chronic Hodgkin lymphoma. I consider myself a fluent and professional reader of medical material. This video is incredible! If the physicians had of educated me in the manner which you have done today I would not have refused the transplant for such an exceptional time frame. Like you I am experiencing improvements that were largely unexpected. I am a 47.5 yr old woman of small stature with a low quantity of body fat. A non drinker, smoker or midnight toker. I applaud and would endorse this video to anyone considering stem cell for whatever reason!!! Thank you.
Hello Valerie. I am a medical scientist and engineer in the field of HCTPs both autologous and allogeneic. Performing an autologous transplant for a lymphoma does not make sense unless you had your cells isolated from your BM manipulated (to attack your cancer) then expanded and used for CAR T-Cell therapy. BTW here are allogeneic for this type of treatment contingent on cancer type and HLA typing. But glad you are doing well!

Stem cell is good healthcare !! It is the way of the future. I just wish the wheels of this machine would get into gold standard fashion. I know money rules how fast the science goes. So, you spent about $50k for the treatments so far ... not including flight / lodging / food / drugs. That's quite a bit. I've had stem cell bone marrow transplants done for my hip here in the states. That was about $10k. Had it done about 1 year ago. Good luck with the rest of your program!

My husband has had umbilical cord stem cells first for his neck then his back and now his back in a different location for a new injury. he has had great success. Few years back the neck was so bad he was in chronic pain and facing surgery . As we all know neck and back surgery rarely helps. He decided to give stem cell a chance , it takes time as you know it's not overnight. But it worked wonderfully, life changing.

You would definitely want to read reviews and check into whomever you use. Idk if it is effective for stenosis but you can certainly get a consultation from somewhere.

I’ve already had a very successful autogolous stem cell procedure for knee cartilage loss in 2014 at the age of 54. My Dr took my own cells from bone marrow, adipose, and my blood. Also bc this was a joint injection he performed a mini arthroscopy with fluro & ultrasound as to guide to the area of concern. Also induced injury to that area. I was post arthroscopy for medial meniscus tear. I had already been diagnosed “bone on bone” -quite the relative term imho!
What I’m concerned about now is I need my other knee done , but it’s more arthritic now at 61 yrs old. I’m interested in allogenic MSC’s taken from umbilical cord or what’s known as Wharton’s jelly. Where to go here in the states for safety, efficacy, experience , and viable cells is the question I’m struggling with !? My Dr from back in 2014 has passed away, rest his soul. He was an awesome Rheumatologist in Fredrick, Maryland.

Hi Lance. I’ve been following your videos for a while now… not sure if it is the supplements you’re taking but you look quite a bit older in this video than 2 and 3 years ago. I have been taking supplements for couple years now too. Don’t see a lot of difference in my aging, my vision is getting worse quickly, losing more hair than usual, belly is growing a lot. So I don’t know.
With being on my 14th year of having primary progressive MS, what I would do for this therapy! Sadly, being sick doesn’t just take away movement, it takes away all your $$$ too and ability to make it. I dream of what life would have been without it, but I guess I like a challenge. 😊

Isn't it standard practice for you produce MRI'S / x-rays of your spine for the doctors review prior to visiting a stem cell clinic? If so, why not get an MRI/ X-ray before you go return for a second visit and then afterwards again? Surely if the treatment works it would be clearly seen in the MRI/X-RAYS etc? If you don't mind could you please reveal what are the specific details of your injury? That's really important. The details matter as you know. Thanks in advance
This seems like a very well produced infomercial to promote RML. Despite the disclosures upfront, there was a tremendous amount of bias in favor of RML.

Lance, thanks for the post, a lot of good info. My biggest question is how did you choose RMI? Did you look into any other places or get any other prices? Is there any place in the U.S. with similar programs or facilities?
I didn't "choose" RMI. I have a relationship with Ryan Smith, the founder of TruDiagnostics. He introduced me to Dr. Giampapa at RMI. RMI offered the therapies as part of a program that I did with them. I did my due diligence on both Dr. G and RMI and both came back with very high marks.
Unfortunately, there are no clinics offering similar therapies in the US. While the therapies that RMI offer have been approved by the FDA for specific and limited conditions, they haven't been approved for "Longevity". Nothing has. So, while they can be performed in the US, they can only be performed for FDA approved conditions. Since longevity isn't one of them, they can't be performed for longevity.

I’ve been wondering how SC therapy is different from a transplant. Last year I got a transplant to cure my sickle cell. An the process is similar in ways but because I used donor cells I had to undergo chemo and radiation therapy while being in the hospital for 2 months. Also I’ve had weakly and biweekly appointments since last year. The great thing now is that I don’t have sickle cell anymore and my blood type has changed but the down side is I’m dealing with graft versus host disease.

I'm new to this channel, so I have to ask am I the only one noticing an "audio issue?" I found it difficult to understand Lance because the audio was so poor... like scratchy? Hi I had a stroke almost 4 years ago and it hit my right side I’ve been to different places for therapy to hear your not going to get normal again or if it hasn’t come back it won’t I been wanting to have the stem cell treatment done rather if it brings everything back or not it’s worth a try I don’t want to give up on myself but the treatments are so expensive and they are not covered by insurance which that sucks because if they have something that will help heal you they should be putting it out there I been looking for clinical trials but I really don’t know how to get into getting it done
You mentioned that you took senolytic compounds including fisetin before your stem cell therapy. What is your take on the Intervention Testing Programs conclusion that fisetin has no synolitic effect on mice? Following closely your stem cell therapy experience, thanks for sharing!
Great question! Honestly, it's really disappointing. I really trust the Intervention Testing Program. I haven't yet thought through all the ramifications, and the Mayo clinic has an ongoing study testing the effects of fisetin in humans. So, probably, I'm going to stop taking fisetin for now, and wait on the Mayo Clinic's results to be published.

I would like to ask you, what was the reason that the therapy clinic did not use the high quality stem cells extracted, after stimulating your body to produce them, of course stem cells from umbilical cords are ecepcional, as hose are neutral/uncoded youngest possible cells? Also, I wonder how can it be determined how succesfully you are assimilating & progressing after the first therapy treatment, if you are to take a variety of recomended meds? I tend to think that, it could alter the treatment next comparison results, and the potencial to see the real natural absorbsion and progression of the Umbilical Cord SCells.
I have a sister that took a similar therapy in Spain, due to 4th stage Linphatic cancer. The stem cells, were donated, as the medical team could not extract enouph or maybe good quality SCells. It has been two+ years since the treatment and all seems good.
It is my first time that I watched one of your videos, so w/o or before I make any comparisons, to previous ones, I thought that you looked like a 60-63 years old man. Congrats.
After the stem cells were harvested, they had to be processes, which takes about a month. I was only in Costa Rica for a few days, so they went into cryopreservation. I've now gone done to Costa Rice for a second round of therapy, and this time, I was infused with my own stem cells.
Nice video. How and why did you decide this route as opposed to using young placental stem cells like they use in Panama? You are banking 72 year old stem cells which simply cannot be as good as placental stem cells. Also quite a bit simpler- no nupagren, no plasmapheresis (except for plasma exchange) . The physioage and the epigenetic age clocks are very inaccurate and cannot be used for anything. Pheno age is better and addressing the n=1 issues like apo b, cac, or other individual abnormal pheno markers. The cost is irrelevant if the program works. I doubt it does.

Are you referring to the Stem Cell Institute in Panama? They use umbilical cord MSCs.
So much to address. First, two of the doctors at RMI who run their lab used to work at the Stem Cell clinic in Panama, but they left and came to RMI because the government in Panama took over the clinic and put restrictions on the lab.
Next, RMI is developing a procedure, which I didn't really talk about, that can rejuvenate aging stem cells, using exosomes from youthful stem cells. They said that it'll be available by the end of the year, and I'll report on it then.
I've done physioage, epigenetic and pheno age testing...they all came back about the same. Pheno age actually said that I was younger than the epigenetic testing.
If I didn't make myself clear, I WAS infused with placental MCS's. That was just one of the treatments I received at RMI. And I guess I don't understand your statement about plasmapheresis, as I understand it, it IS plasma exchange.

I have had several stem cell procedures and treatments done over the years all making absolutely NO DIFFERENCE to anything! I suffered a traumatic injury to my left femur completely shattering the bone. I of course underwent surgery and after six months or so there was not enough healing taking place naturally and my doctor started recommending a bone graft surgery to fill in the large more than two inch gap missing from my femur. Not wanting to go through another surgery I consulted a stem cell clinic and was told that by directly injecting the site of the injury with stem cells that they believed it would encourage enough bone growth to sufficiently heal the damage. I decided I would try anything to avoid another major surgery so I went to the clinic where they extracted the adipose tissue surrounding my navel in order to obtain the necessary cells. A short time later I was checked into a hospital for outpatient surgery where they injected the stem cells at the site of the injury. A month later there was no improvement so I was told that they would like to try stem cells derived from a human umbilical cord. The procedure was done again and again there was no improvement or additional bone growth. They convinced me to take one more treatment this time using stem cells targeted specifically for bone growth. The third procedure was done and I also went in for an IV infusion of stem cells twice during the time period after the direct femoral injections. Three months after the last procedure there was absolutely no change or growth. I was forced to undergo a second major surgery taking a two inch piece from my hip to fill in the gap where bone was still missing. The orthopedic surgeon pointed out that there was absolutely no change or healing evident from the stem cell procedures and infusions. He also pointed out that I needed a 75% healing to be able to live a normal life when this was all over. To this day which is now six years after the injury I have only 50% healing at the injury site. The cost of each of the stem cell surgical injections amounted to about $13, 000. In other words $39,000 plus the two infusions costing $12,000 EACH! So $51,000 in the garbage as far as I am concerned. One day this form of treatment may have a place in medicine but right now it’s a total scam and does not work in my opinion.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it helped with bones, prp is a few hundred bucks. It’s your own growth factors injected into you frok your own blood . Maybe worth a try at this point?
Amazing video. Hasn't it been fairly well confirmed that Mesenchymal cells are the most effective and should come from newborn chord blood because they're "fresh" rather than our "older" stem cells? Or is the point that compatibility is an issue that is handled better by your own stem cells?
What was the cost, or what would it cost us, compared to doing a similar therapy in the US? How much of this is even available in the US?
How would you rate the different therapies on value for the dollar and safety? There seem to be a lot of drugs involved that I wouldn't want to just take.
See the pinned comment above. The only drug I took was the Neupogen and I had no side effects, although I've heard that some people experience pain in their bones during the 3 days they're taking the drug.

With all the studying and knowledge you have, I am wondering if you have looked into and considered bio-identical testosterone. It has been proven low T causes sleep apnea and of course ED. It also plays a factor in muscle loss, heart disease, brain health and much more. I'm sure you know, as we all age (men and women) our hormones decline and, with that, comes many problems.
I'd like to know what your thoughts are on bio T replacement. Although I am a woman, I suffered with sleep apnea after menopause and many other "hormone" related issues. After I went on bio-identical hormones (started with testosterone) all my issues were in the past.

Have you tried red velvet deer antler tincture? I've used it for recovery from pneumonia. It really helps a lot.
I had a stem cell transplant a year ago. Part of my cancer therapy. Not the same as stem cell therapy. It is supposed to add a year and a half to my remission. Pretty tough experience. Quite scary when your bone marrow is basically dead due to the chemo and you are waiting for the stem cells to graft and reboot.
One year on, it is a bit of a mixture. Good days and bad. Was it worth it? Hard to say.

I had bone on bone knees at age of 59 and did all the creams. I was told I would have to have them replaced and my body would scream with pain and would beg the doctor to do the operation. Well the time came I couldn't walk and needed to have something done. I had researched stem cell injections and had it done at Gulf Coast Stem Cells. I am now 72 and have been without the pain now for 3 years for $5,000 a knee. Insurance would not pay a dime, yet they would spend $50,000 plus for the operation. I am not 100% but have learned what helps the stem cells do their job.
I would like to know where to go to get the job done most cheaply. I am 63 and I am playing the best golf of my life -- semi retired so I had a chance to think of the swing... I would like to play golf in the U.S. Senior Open, and some other "open" events. That said, I have terrible knees. I want to have something done, but I do not have tens-of-thousands of dollars laying around. Do you know where the least expensive place in the world to have this treatment done is to be found? I ask because you seem to have checked it out. (I supposed they would inject my knees with stem cells, and other things that help cartilage to thicken-up.)
I don't know who is the cheapest, and I would be wary of them. There are a lot of shysters in the stem cell field and I would expect that the cheapest clinics would be in that crowd. This is a brand new field, still in it's infancy. If you want cheaper prices, wait a few years until the field becomes more mature.

If you only started lifting now, then I would expect you to reap significant benefits from that.
Lifting and animal protein (at least 150g/day) is a priority against sarcopenia. Add plenty of fat for hormonal support.
Body composition tests are quite inacurate, since your level of hydration, salt intake, pooping, etc influence it wildly. When I do my 3 day fast, my body comp on my withings scale easily fluctuate 2 kg+.
You do not look lean. I would suggest you focus on lifting, protein surplus, and regular 3-day fasts to get to 10-12% body fat. Lifting and being lean(er), together with ample fat, has a chance of increasing your andogens and estrogens, which are the prerequisites of libido and function.
You need to put in the work, you can't rely on pills for improvements.
My dad is older than you, and I have him doing what I wrote, he has been able to get very strong, with improved functions and mood to follow.
Metformin will also mess up your androgens, don't take it if you are not diabetic.
I've been lifting all my life. Got injured a couple of years ago, which curtailed my ability to lift weights. But I'm healed up now, have returned to lifting and am seeing some amazing results. After only a couple of weeks, I'm already at about 85% - 90% of my all-time maximum lifts

I must tell you in 1960 I learned to meditate with a Buddist Monk in Tailand, this Monk also taught me a lot about diet and health, I have since that time only eaten one meal per day, I drink water, tea and black coffee. I don't drink alcohol, I don't eat junk food and very little meat, no dairy at all and I take no medication, I did however, smoke for 58 years, I finally quite 3 years ago.
I had two children in my 30's and I have never been sick in my entire life, I havn't been to a Doctor since I had my children who are now in their 40's and I am still working, the profile picture was taken about 3 months ago.

Hey Lance how is your back today? I’m getting stem cells in my back and knee as I had a failed back fusion and failed knee replacement and I’m still only 41. Chronic pain has been almost suicidal for me. I’ve done PRP several times and it didn’t help at all. I’m hoping stem cells do though.
