Sherwin Williams makes a stain brush specifically for getting between boards.

Deck looks great Tom! An older deck can look brand new if you take your time and do it right! I fixed my 20 year old deck a few months ago, the bones were good so I replaced all the crooked spindles(105 of them), replaced the top rail, added new floor, painted and stained it, added some more hurricane straps and bracing for stability since it's 13' in the air.Now it looks amazing and is more stable than when it was new! It's about 14x27

A deck brush would get in the cracks as well as the boards. All in one easy pease.
