It's always nice that even in the worst cases you always have the gear set you logged off with and if you have enough fame to make purchases at the trader it can take just a day to get back on your feet

I wish they had admins on official servers as well. When people start playing multiplayer, then these are the servers they're most likely to pick, and it is not a good sign that cheaters can freely run around there with no consequences.
But I agree with everything you said. Don't let them ruin the game for you. They've ruined the game for themselves anyway because it's too difficult and time consuming for them to learn all the skills.
I use to play with a crosshair, one day I just tried without and the expierance has been finomalel so I highly encourage it.
It's unfortunate that your servers are outside South Africa which makes the ping not worth it.

Hey Luthais, full wipe, they only left gold and character untouched, wonder why . Also puppets are kinda broken , can't out maneuver them. real bad time to had some chests full. 😢
Be glad it wasn't a full wipe, otherwise you wouldn't kept gold and stats. What happened was a partial wipe wich they need to do if there's too much changes to game mechanics or the game would be completely broken. More than it is anyway I mean.

First of all it’s a survival Game, ppl need to realize that at first !
If you think that if you lose everything you have or if your own base is attacked that will mean your downfall, you are on the wrong track with SCUM.
I actually always play alone and my experience on Wasteland (back then Luthais had a real hardcore survival server called Wasteland) showed me that all this extreme collecting and storing of items has zero effect.
It's survival and it's about surviving with what you have.
If you die then you restart and move on!
Players are way too spoiled these days and developers are making things easier and easier.
I'm glad there are dedicated servers.
If only the official servers were there, the game would be history long ago, because even on official servers, hardcore doesn't mean hardcore.

I feel with the traders in the game it makes raiding irrelevant. You can buy everything you need and live in a 1x1. once you have the fame points you need to buy what every you want, a base becomes useless. I played a full wipe with no base and only lived in my car everywhere on the map. I did not get raided once because i always parked somewhere no one can find me or spend the time to run to me. PVP was fun, raiding other players was fun. but the game did lose something when they added traders. items and loot lost its value. and there is no reason to keep anything. So gear fear can't exist in this game.
Highly depends on Serversettings how OP traders are. Im on your side.

Traders hurt the survival aspect of the game.
We are lucky server owners are able to set up the trader and the items but bottom line , your right !
Until your vehicle glitches through the map then the game raids you lol.

Are "noraid" servers already introduced? Just waiting for that. And no. Being Raided with broken lockpicking and losing everything is not what Survival is About.
If you are afraid losing your Gear in SCUM it’s definitely the wrong game 😁
And ppl that are holding items like the squirrel his nuts for the long winter are definitely PVE players.
A survival Game that has no PVP and no fear to lose your stuff because there are only NPC that you fight against, is clearly not a survival game.

There are PVE servers. There is Single Player. There is Dail Locks. There is BCU locks and you can even Bury your most important loot.
@@Zinedamzy No thats just not true. In DayZ we have many PVP + noraid servers and its just working great and servers are populated. This lockpicking in Scum is just idiotic.

But for me personally on PVE Server only + raid protection lock pick protection takes away all the fun that the game has to offer.
If you like that, I would recommend you to check out The Forest or Green Hell.
I have no gear fear. I liquidate all i don't need and if i lose stuff, i can be geared again in 30-45 minutes. No base, no chests. Not worth having with abundance of Chinese cheaters on official. Fans is all that matters. 😉
raided? was there not a wipe? I guess maybe this vid was created 2 or 3 days ago? waiting on your vid examining the new update in detail but idk if its needed, all are saying the same thing, its only slight improvements, nothing is really "fixed" Very sad.

That’s never going to happen cause nobody plays this game and the map is way to big for the max capacity of servers to ever even meet another person let alone get raided by them
