Have been enjoying your videos since I discovered your channel a few months back. Wish my husband who, was born and raised in Tupper Lake, was still alive so he could enjoy them, too! He so loved the Adirondack Mountains especially in the fall. His outdoor skills he learned in his youth in the Adirondacks gave me the confidence to go anywhere with him. We were a backpacking family out west in the High Sierras…the best memories for us together. He took us all back to Tupper four times with our kids…he was fortunate to have been raised in such beauty! I love your beautiful videos…they make me wish our family had spent more time there!
Fantastic hikes! I did them all on a Columbus Day weekend years back. Bear Den was one of my favorites with the amazing views of Whiteface. I love those open rocky views! Catamount was my favorite. Great Video!
I keep hearing that Catamount is amazing, so I'm hoping to get up there pretty soon. I also heard that you can make a nice loop out of Big Crow and Hurricane, which is waaaaay better than out-and-backs, in my opinion ;)

I love hiking on the leaves in the fall, however, it's the roots and rocks underneath that are hidden that I don't like.
