Chris i really like your way of teaching, I'm currently studying teaching Methods at school on how to teach English and the current topic is Addressing the Grammar Gap in Task Work and my classmates and i have to give a class explaining the subject we are having some difficulties on understanding it but your video helped allot. We would like to ask what is a good activity that is tasked based and if i can find the lesson plan on your blog, i tried looking for this one but i didn't find it,
IMO, I thought there were some issues with this lesson. Firstly, the teacher was very serious and rarely smiled, this makes learners of a second language discouaged as they think you are not happy with them and their ability. The ice breaker was simply not an ice breaker, students should be mingling with each other as well as the teacher and the acivity is supposed to be fun! He also stumbled on adjectives and verbs. A few points I would pick up on but ......

Actually, this is going to be my first experience since i just finished my university 2 months ago and the manager said that i'm going to teach speaking or listening or any topic that i want for 20 mnts, I'm thinking to do listening and speaking as a combined lesson or go for vocabulary
For 20 minutes your school wants to primarily see that you can have high stt, your presentation of new language is good and you can error correct well. Sports or hobbies will work.
would you plz tell me how i can be a good teacher in my demo session and which points i must concern for teenagers in an english language class in iran?
Again...to much intervention of the facilitator...he is taking over the class.the students are mere robots who answer...another case of a teacher-centered-class......
PETER ROBERTS English as an international language could be the goal, IMO -- not specifically British English either. Is "awesome" really such a terrible example? Also, if he is American, should he change his accent? In Europe, English is primarily used as a Lingua Franca, it's features are varied and depending on the speakers.

Wang Wu I've got a lesson on here where I teach some Beginner/Elementary students. The structure and methodology is a lot different with low levels.
