I’m in my late 50’s and have been following Lake Street Dive since their Fun Machine album almost ten years ago. I first heard them do “You Go Down Smooth” live at the Town Hall in NYC which blew me away. My kids are in their mid 20’s, and have said I scored “cool Dad” points for turning them on to this group (and The Revivalists). Can’t wait to see them again May 29th at Art Park in Lewiston, NY 👍🏻

@@HolyCanoley It’s just that Carol had a huge impact on the world of music, so everything now reminds you of her. I have the same story with Mariah Carey. But Rachel Price has a unique voice with its own shades, she rightfully ranks with great performers, although not so popular in the world (so far)

There is nothing I do not love about this band. Got Ann Arbor tickets -- so happy about that. It is incredible how many people have no idea who they are still.

Had the pleasure of meeting you after an LSD concert in Philly and you were very gracious. We think of you and your love of gin and tonics every time we listen to 'You Go Down Smooth'.

Lake Street Dive is definitely a social connection with my Millennial age friends, and I’m in my mid 50’s. I’ll check out The Revivalists too!
