We also have My Adventures with Superman which I think is renewed for season 3. I wouldn’t worry about the Timmverse. They never close the door entirely on anything especially shows like Batman Beyond. Ty man for what you do! Keep up the awesome work and you are the man!
It is what I have feared is that Gunn is going to basically wipe out all that the fans have loved before to make his own DC universe. I have a basic stance, if Young Justice does not get a new series, I will not watch any of Gunn's DC. If we all take that stance he might realise the success of his DC will depend on recognising what us fans love prior to him taking the reigns.

Yes I would love a new universe, separate from live action, I would really prefer if they do couple solo movies and minor team up movies to build the universe before a Justice league level movie. I miss DCAMU
My question is, is it going to be Watchmen in its own universe or will it be a part of the animated movie universe. And there was two universes known as earth 16, they could use that to say that Earth 16 was rebooted and that YJ takes place post crisis. I don’t think it would be Gunn canceling all non-DCU animated universes. That would be a Zaslov decision like the live action side primarily focusing on totally not scripted “reality” tv.
They need to bring back young Justice I'd hate for it to just end on the cliffhanger that we got and also, Put Season 4 on dvd for Cirses sake. Pun intended.

Super random but… They should make a green arrow video game, that is connected to the dcu. The game play should be similar to the game, tomb raider and Uncharted. We already had an arrow tv show, so why not introduce us to the character in a different way. Just throwing sum random ideas out.

Hey there Comic Book Nostalgia. I just wanted to say thank you for this great new video dealing with the future of the direct to DVD DC Animated Movies. I did find the video to be very interesting and informative that does give us some insight to the future projects. I for one think that DC should go back to how they started the DC animated movies by doing adaptations of some of their popular or interesting story arcs that fans, like us really enjoy.

They better bring something like Dcamu, it was peek for me, tomarrowverse was ok, but hella confusing and rushed though I would say I loved the part 3 of crisis, and the ending brought some hope, I like the art style, personally would prefer if animated universe is separate from live action.

Unfortunately, I do think the direct to video animated features should take a backseat to the new live action DCU. Don’t stop them entirely, but keep the animation division focused on TV shows with the occasional Elseworlds animated movie.

First of all , My adventures with superman got an early renewal for third season at Max and adult swim , Secondly , Greg Weisman hasn't renewed young justice for fifth season elsewhere on streaming service network other than Max , not yet
Well Superman has already been green lit for S3 back in June, while YJ is on it's second year without a renewal, meaning that even if it WAS renewed now you would have to wait for 2026 or '27 with their production rate for S3&4.
I think James Gunn announcing the Jurassic league confirms that the animated dc movies aren’t all going to be part of the dcu and as for competition both caped crusader and my adventures with superman could compete with the dcu so if he’s okay with them existing then I don’t see any reason to cancel young justice

Catch when the DCAU started on Fox Kids, and then Kids' WB by the time Justice League/Justice League Unlimited aired on Cartoon Network. Even Teen Titans had its day on Kids' WB, but YJ was on shaky ground from the start. Never forget, Cartoon Network gave that show the axe because merchandise sales were miniscule at best. Bad omens have surrounded that show for the longest time. Even when it returned to streaming, were people really crazy about those seasons?
