Fun fact: Twitch doesnt have the infrastructure to track how many ads it sends out are blocked by adblock, so using an adblock on Twitch still gives all streamers you watch all the money they would get if you actually watched the ad. youtube does not do this so if anything, turn the adblock off on youtube for Andrew In short, if you dont have the money to sub, use an adblock on Twitch and you dont have to feel bad about it (twitch mafia pls dont come for me)

Like it can absolutely screw you over with choker at the wrong time or cursed key when you get to a chest floor or such, but it also lets you play around the effect and it's really well made with the die changing to show the active relic on the face and I think it's one of the best modded boss relics just because it's so close in power level to a regular energy boss relic. Like I think it's an auto-take over most of its face relics (in most cases) but I also think it's not SO much better, you know? 11/10 relic design.
I don't see how having a random base relic each floor is any better than having a single base relic you can build your deck around. And sure, 2 out of 6 times it might be something that doesn't affect you at all, like cursed key, but 1 out of 6 times it's gonna be velvet choker and basically always lose you the run. Having 1 free energy once in a while isn't worth having only 6 cards per turn once in a while IMO.

Velvet *is* a shitty relic but it's not an instadeath always, especially when you have the non-velvet floors to compensate die essentially gives you (at least) a 1/6 chance every floor that whatever you are doing, it's gonna be bad for you. You can get cursed key on a relic floor, ectoplasm on a high gold event, etc. As the nature of a die would suggest, it's a gamble

He would still need to be careful since he lost a lot of money when taking damage, even if he could heal it back. His block wasn't too consistent during that run.

As to why he ended up with 7 strength down, I have no idea. My best guess is it's a rounding error from the ignition tank, but I don't see where it could be coming from since you're doubling a number, not halving it. It should have been: Gain 3 strength and strength down, double strength down to 6, lose 6 strength next turn, double applied negative strength to -6.
7:22 it's actually really nice if you have a bunch of damage based healing and barrier but if you only have like drones and monster teeth it can fuck you yea (in regards to the flower in RoR2)
an artifact from Risk of Relics. It changes act 4 and permanently unlocks an artifact that can add quirky effects to your run, like in risk of rain. Sadly the act 4 fight is pretty easy so Frost doesn't usually take it
Unupgraded it only gives 1 energy per 4 cards in his draw pile so if he ever had less than 8 it would only give him 1, but since it costs 1 that makes it do nothing on its own. Upgraded it gives 1 per 3 cards, which is a fair bit better.

He would still need to be careful since he lost a lot of money when taking damage, even if he could heal it back. His block wasn't too consistent during that run.
