    FYI: If you have a Dollar Tree store near you, you can buy a chopping mat to use for your pattern. Package comes with 2 vinyl mats at 11" x 14".

    Thanks, Amber! Kailani and I are planning to make some blankets together. She’s already picked her fabrics out. I think we’ll make a lovey sized one together - for her dolls - and then I can work on the real blanket to match while she’s busy playing with it! 😉

    Your sewing machine has feed dogs to pull the bottom fabric when you sew but If you were to buy a sewing machine “Walking Foot” accessory (under$15 bucks) it’ll help pull your fabric on top at the same time because it has “feed dogs” attached to it.

Also, for the bibs and burp cloths you sell locally, I love how you have them wrapped in a brown paper sleeve. Do you make the sleeve yourself or do you order them somewhere?

    Great tutorial. The pins you use from hobby lobby do you sew over them? Also do you change your foot on the sewing machine?

      Yes! I know technically you are not supposed to sew over needles, but i do haha. Also, i just use a standard foot with my seam allowance to 1/4". Hope that helps

      Hi there! A lovey is essentially a baby's security blanket. Small enough to take on the go so they don't need their crib blanket.

      You can sew over pins. Then remove them.
