    There's a sequence in this fight where Dom is up against the cage and dodges 5 or 6 punches from TJ and nails TJ with an uppercut and pivots out to the center. It's criminal that it's not in this highlight.

    one of the most incredible things in the history of Fighting and Martial Arts. Being gone for so long, plagued by too many injuries. Never lost the belt he’s always defended but had to vacate. Comes back and mostly destroys and humiliates the current champion in Tj Dillashaw to retake his title. Dominick Cruz, one of the true legends and greatest bantamweight Fighter in history.

He’s been fighting 18 years and only has 27 fights. By contrast, a savage like Gegard Mousasi has been active for 19 years and has something like 60 fights.

    Masterclass by Cruz. This version of him at age 30 wasn’t losing to anybody. Bantamweight GOAT and it’s scary to think how much better he could have been if he never got hurt. TJ would have lost every single round if Cruz never got hurt.

I said if Cruz never was injured the fight wouldn’t have even been close and the fact that he fought TJ after an ACL reconstruction surgery and beat him in a close fight just shows he was the better champion all along.     If I remember correctly, before the fight, dillashaw had 100% takedown defence (was mentioned during the weight in) and cruz took him down 4 times. Simply incredible

    This win only get's better with age, it was incredible then it's SENSATIONAL in hindsight.
    Cruz coming back after a 3 year lay off, plagued with injuries, reaching the tail end of his prime. Goes in there against a roided up Dillashaw and reclaims the belt he never lost at that point.

      It definitely won't be cruz anyway. Maybe prime Cruz could've but not now. Only three I can see beating yan are tj, aljo and aldo. Aldo got battered last time but on his good nights if he decides to throw leg kicks he could pull a decision win.
