Well... 5 kallax costs like an entire bed. It is good for storage though
There is the malm bed too that has a lot of storage Space and costs less than this kallax version.

Kallax does not hold much weight.
According to IKEA web page, shelves max is 29 lbs, wall unit 66 lbs…. Doesn’t seem safe for two people…. But I could be wrong.
That is what im wondering too! But maybe when its laid flat like that it has much more support plus it has all the support from the rest of the sides too. But if this really work it would be so much easy to get a nice bed frame with more storage space
@@johnnales6195distributed across the frame and the surface area it should be plenty. You could build some support points to ground within the platform too.

They showed one wooden beam thing somewhere in the video, I'd assume they do something similar to fill up the whole space (well like gaps in between but similar to a bed frame)
Like right after they show how they attached the corners on the inside of the storage things

Question can a milk crate hold up a twin bed FRAME with bed and me i way 95 pounds and really want a loft bed bc my room is small and i need to put these shelfs somewhere there the height of my mini poodle if that gives a better idea pls look one up if possibel❤
