Singing unites human beings and brings joy to their hearts, that is why it is so important to sing during times like these, but positive vibes are needed. Is there a better suited German aria about beautiful things like love out there? :)

Completely agree. I have heard many singers with amazing vocals, completely ruin the lyrics. I am not a native speaker of German, but I do understand German.Perhaps people who don't understand it at all, don't care at all. I do feel the rolling R at the very final sentence, helps the emotional charge. Der Mutter SchwuRRR.
I’m not an opera singer. But more of an R&B/pop but my voice ends up doing opera things. I would like to learn this aria just as a challenge and this the video I was looking for.
