Thanks for the demo. This is the Gretsch I'm saving up for in Red Cherry Metallic.

Looks magnificent in that colour, especially if you can source one with a darker natural Laurel fingerboard which compliments the darker tone aesthetic of the Red Cherry Metallic better to my eye. I have one and truly love it.

I'm about to go buy a cherry metallic in about 45 minutes.... Excited!

Does this model have issues with head dive?

I suspect it will depend upon the weight of the individual instrument you receive/select. They're a heavier guitar than they look given the relatively smallish size of the body for a Gretsch and knowledge of the fact that they're chambered Mahogany. Mine (2022) weighs in at just under 3.8KG, about the same weight as my Mahogany Ibanez AS113 semi-hollow (ES-335) and original model solid Nato body Yamaha RS420 Revstar. My G5232T is well balanced with neither neck dive nor rise. I can't see neck dive being a problem with a G5232T with that body weight. Perhaps if receiving a much lighter density body example or a stoptail 5222 or LH 5232 without the weight of the Bigsby?
