So happy I found your channel it's to helpful and you deserve a better recognition. Would you mind if you describe the brushs and the specs you use plz

I'm so glad you found it useful!! What specs would you like to know, the software I use? As for the brushes nothing super special, just ones I've picked up over the years, I think mostly they are packs from Shaddy, Jamie Jones, Darek Zabrocki and Raphael Lacoste, I just try them out and pick out the ones I like. Other that the hard and soft round Iike to use a few with a bit of texture to get some interesting brush strokes.

Found the 6 minute time-lapse for this and was very happy to see the real time version as well. Photobashing textures have always interested me, but I've yet to really try it. Is there any reason to do the flats first, then photos, then values? Liked and subbed. Thank you for sharing.

You should give it a go!! You don't have to do the flats first, I just use it as a way to keep the original sketch in mind and stop myself getting too distracted by the contents of the photo, and it also gives me something to make a clipping mask with so I don't have to be too careful with where I place the textures. To be fair, if I did this again, I would probably go, flats for basic colour, values to describe form then photos for textures rather than going back and doing the shadows after, but that's one of the fun thing about doing the videos, I get to see where I could have improved my workflow.
