I just got a Tremec TKX for my LS swapped 1970 GTO. No tunnel mods needed...Also, if you are using the Holley forward engine mounts, the Magnum is a much easier fit than the F-body T56 that you are using.
Thanks for the info. Also just learned that the T56 magnum mount is in a different position than my mock up trans, so can't mod the xmember yet and position everything. I can get it close and keep moving though.
@@HTMR You can, but the Holley crossmember has nice cutouts for the exhaust to pass through and is setup to work with the Magnum (and many other transmissions). They use spacers to accommodate the various different transmission options.
