    Stunning 😍. Offsetting like a brickie 👍

      Yes,,,the offsetting creates a movement going AROUND the circle. It is important to consider how the tiles are placed in relation to one another.

    I kept trying to figure out the reason for putting the tiles on paper. Will you be transferring it onto something else? Also, I didn’t see you use glue until you were fitting the small bits.

      The paper was my original template.
      This design is transferred onto the board that I will glue onto
      The reason I liked doing this on the paper was that I can get a feeling of how the grout colour will work with the colour tile selection.
      It also allows me to redesign and make changes to the mosaic BEFORE gluing
      Cheers and I hope this explains it a little more

    Excellent information! Can you tell us the name of the second wheeled nippers you mentioned as your “go to’s?” Are they available in the US? Thank you!

    Is it a benefit to put tiles on paper first or could I place them on the substrate before gluing? I’m trying to see the benefit of placing on paper first. Thank you for a great video.

    • @HannMadeStudio
      @HannMadeStudio  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a good question. they idea of paper is so you can get an idea of what the mosaic will look like BEFORE gluing. Also,,,placing a BLCK paper gives you an idea of black grout would look!! If you are confident of your design,,,dont worry about using paper first.

    Wonderful video thank you. Can I ask how to transferred the tiles from the paper to the board. Piece by piece or tape/reverse method (is that what it’s called?). Thank you

    • @HannMadeStudio
      @HannMadeStudio  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I added the pieces, piece by piece using tweezers. I did not place ALL the tiles that I needed onto the paper, just enough so that I knew what the design was going to look like. I do "direct" method. AND,,,thank you for watching.
