  • Although I like this unit, it’s not all as advertised. Of course it’s made from Chinese parts but it’s assembled by Massimo in Grapevine, TX.

    Thank you for this review. I bought my Massimo t-boss in Oct. of last year. It is also a 2022 and the last one the dealer had. I was looking for a 550 but the one they had was a 750 but it didn't have the touch screen. I often thought that it would have been nice to have that with the navigation even though I don't really need it because I know this area where I live very well. After watching your review I'm so glad it didn't come with it. I am very happy with this machine and they say it will go 55 mph but I have had it 45 mph and that way fast enough for me. Actually I don't need to go that fast. This does have power steering which I like. It's probably not needed. But so far I have had no problems at all with this. I did get the half door enclosure and installed a heater which is nice here in Maine for winter rides and ice fishing.Thank you again.

      I just picked my 450 up this evening - the dealer had it on his lot with the touchscreen and I got it for the non-touchscreen price as he wanted to move the inventory. It had a card in it and a plan so it was ready to go with the GPS but I'm probably not going to use it much at all. I'm more interested in figuring out how to do the "top light" on the main screen than anything.

    Durability has been a issue with these machines I have the Knight 700 and I can't give it away. Hisun motors is fairly new and they are trying to get in the atv and utv market by offering an affordable machine to the average income consumer. It's a great sales model but these machines reflect the pricing unfortunately. You'll be hard pressed to find a tech to work on them once the warranty goes out. Mine still runs but I have put close to 3000 dollars in repairs in it and now it just started not idling. It's one thing after another. Mine is a 2017 and I have been told that Hisun has improved their machines since I bought mine but I am not willing to test the water again.

    I have gps navigation on mine and it's not too bad of a utv so far.

    Got mine out of grapevine also. Yea the screen is dumb.. speed is good on top end for what we use it for, seems a bit loud.

    Once you pair your smartphone to it, you should be able to use that connection for music and all other available apps through your connection including GPS and Google maps. After all, this touchscreen device is Android based and requires connection to the internet based services through your smartphone. If your individual massimo purchase is not satisfactory, you have legal recourse through factory authorized warranty service agreement. I hope this helps you resolve it. I know how ocd causes stress.

    Are you experiencing severe heat coming from the motor in between the seat and dump bed ? I’ve got the 760 but think they are pretty close to the same. The heat is almost unbearable

      It does get hot, but not unbearable. I’ll be thankful come deer season.

    Can you pair your phone to the screen and use the gps signal from your phone.? That way, all your options could work.

      I can pair my phone, however as best I can tale, that's just for music if you attached speakers.

      Why do you need a camera on a 10 foot machine.

    Man I am tempted to get one of these things, I don't really care about the touch screen. This UTV seems to be well priced without even taking that into consideration. I'm just worried about buying a Chinese ATV that costs $9k, I think I would be better off getting a Kawasaki mule for the peace of mind and warranty, it's such a gamble and I've heard people complain about services from Massimo. I think you called them "Shiity" like 15 times and that is concerning. Obviously whatever help they offered you was less than what you expected and that really sucks off Donkeys when you are spending that much money. Also resale value is pretty much Garbage and if I decide to upgrade in five years or so I'd probably lose a Shiiter full of money over it. Curious why you didn't get the John Deere UTV if you really liked those? I have a JD 3032e, and I currently use it like an ATV, sort of... Got a winch on front and I drag trees around with a strap, but I want something to drive to the dump in too. IDK, $9k is not as much money as it used to be, but it's still a lot to this old Bastard. Thanks for the honest review brother.

      I bought it for the same reasons others do, price. I watched all the TH-cam videos that gave it great reviews. It wasn't until I made the purchase and joined Facebook groups that I realized the problems these unit have. I have not had these issues as of yet. Getting it serviced is a nightmare. Im 3 hours from where I purchased it and the local dealer doesn't really want to deal with it as I didn't purchase it from them. I had no love for any machine as I had never owed a side by side. I know this one drives a lot like a go-cart, and the ride is very rough. My buddy Can am, as well as another friends John Deere are very smooth driving. Hope this helps. If I had to do it again, I would purchase something else.

    sorry to hear you have so much truble everything works on mine the plug for light was hard to find it has 4 connecters I would get massimo to replace the touch screen

    • @BukWildTrucking
      @BukWildTrucking  ปีที่แล้ว

      Massimo made it pretty clear they was not going to do anything. I still like the machine. Just wish I wouldn’t have got the touch screen. The storage would be much more useful.
