One morning I heard a noise on my rooftop and a moment later saw this huge wingspan of a bird landing in the tree outside my window with a white head and tail. There it was a bald eagle. So beautiful ❤
Very powerful sharp claws, but they don't use them for killing. They grab their prey, fly up a couple hundred feet and drop them to their death, following close behind to reap the fruit of their labor.
Finally these majestic birds are coming back! I actually seen one in Pennsylvania farm land area. He was low enough to tell it was an eagle, the was pursued by a Chicken hawk I believe. He then shared way up to the clouds and started flying away. If only I had my phone at the time!
In 2019,....a bald eagle flew into this suburb of Columbus, Ohio. I was there and saw this huge bird and was shocked by its size. It was so large that it temporarily blocked the sun, when its wings were fully spread out,...casting a shadow over the ground where I was standing. I didn't know they would fly into a suburban area, filled housing, and very little open ground. Though there is a large lake and river only a couple miles from where I was standing. It was SO amazing.
There is a pair of bald eagles that nests in our large suburb. There is a large lake here that may attract them. Nobody knows where they go after nesting season. I was so shocked the first time I saw one high overhead.
That's an arrogant way of thinking. You probably think that sharks have designated areas to swim so they don't bother humans. That's not how it works. Nature is their home & everywhere is part of nature. Rules are only for humans.
@@Queenofswords111 I've lived in this suburban area for a long time,....I've never seen a bald eagle, anywhere. We sometimes have barn owls & hawks, but they are also rare sightings. The surrounding areas are being gobbled up by runaway housing construction, currently at a fever pitch. Every little wooded grove, is gone. Within the last 2 years, deer are now roaming our streets. Walking between suburban housing, in alleys, on roads and streets. My city has destroyed every square inch of natural habitat. Eagles may have been around, but they managed to keep hidden. They have no place to live and hide, presently. I recently read bald eagles are making a "come back",....maybe they are more closely being watched and protected.

It's wonderful that Bald Eagles are no longer endangered. Such majestic birds of prey!
Actually, they're still endangered as anyone with a gun is very likely to shoot at them just to kill one..
@@georgecarberry9222 it's disheartening that some loser would still kill a Bald Eagle!! I'll have to check out what the penalty is for that crime!
@@georgecarberry9222 Uh... what? That statement is ridiculous.
You think he made it up?

"Oh my fudge..." priceless reaction to when you see how big these birds really are. 😊
As it calmly squeezes the life out of whatever is in its claws
Very powerful sharp claws, but they don't use them for killing. They grab their prey, fly up a couple hundred feet and drop them to their death, following close behind to reap the fruit of their labor.

@@scottoshea9440 dang, that’s brutal! Worse than being sliced to death I’d think.
Nothing in its claws and don’t care if there was. We all gotta eat
@@jenniferruth812 its a whole lot better than being eaten alive!
I've never been lucky enough to see a bald eagle in real life, just on TV or internet. I would love to see one up close like this. Lucky Lady
they are in your state, WILD....
we in Hawaii are the only state that doesnt have wild breeding pairs of Bald Eagles.... aloha
It’s cus they’re endangered. Humans have been driving their numbers down for centuries.
Wasnt expecting her to ask such a valid question. Because the bird is definitely a somebody.
That's about how I felt when I saw an eagle in my neighborhood a few months ago. It's amazing to see them up close.

Finally these majestic birds are coming back! I actually seen one in Pennsylvania farm land area. He was low enough to tell it was an eagle, the was pursued by a Chicken hawk I believe. He then shared way up to the clouds and started flying away. If only I had my phone at the time!
Elegant and beautiful bird.
@@Queenofswords111 Nobody is saying they shouldn't be there. It's just a comment on what kind of environment they are willing to tolerate.
As soon as you said beautiful you already knew he was the way he was looking he already knew he was beautiful he is so confident and how beautiful he is truly an amazing creature

It’s so beautiful to see the bald Eagle making a comeback in our lifetime!
I live in one of the few states where bald eagles live all year round (Washington State)and I’m seeing them daily now, can’t ask for anything more beautiful than that ❤🦅❤
I'm from Washington in South King County. My 13yr old has been into Eagles and Hawks since she first seen em, they soar over our area a lot.

Mary Delprinciple: My friend up in Northern CA sent a pic she took of a Bald Eagle way up high in the air. I almost did cry.
