To be honest the people who defend these kind of choices and changes are the worst ones of the bunch. They are ones telling everyone else to remain silent and do nothing, at this point I say no and I rather rebel and fight back. It also doesn’t help that the new Sektora is voiced by an activist which just adds more insult to injury for the character. It was bad enough they weren’t playable in the last game (especially after having amazing designs) but now they have been reduced to these abominations. This will be the last modern MK game I ever play, since NRS and WB games alongside bad devs like Dominic and StephMANie have utterly ruined my favorite franchise of all time growing up. The next best thing is to take all my ninjas and cyber ninjas into other games / franchises through a character creation mode since we can treat them better over there compared to their own franchise that refuses to do so.
Last time Cyrax and Sektor have been playable was in MK9, which is a game you can't really play online anymore. I think they were so bold to change these characters because they thought fans will be forced to buy the dlc no matter what, as they have no other option. Which is scummy, to say the least.
Nightwolf is nothing more than a mantle in fact before "Nightwolf" there was a female Nightwolf that was slain by Shang Tsung. its been revealed in MK11 between Nightwolf n Shang Tsung's interaction.
I don't think this change is horrible as of now but I will withhold judgement until I see the story. I am still more unhappy about Kuai Liang being scorpion. The mantle of Scorpion just doesn't fit Kuai's character. To add insult to injury they let Kuai Liang marry Hanzo's wife too...
@@robertwang2788 yeah, I didn’t make a huge problem with Kuailiang scorpion because it at least changed the story, I still wasn’t fully for it. They at least did it to change the story, Sektor and Cyrax were changed for nothing. THAT is why I’m against it so much. That and DEI.
i hear Sweet Baby Inc. had no involvement in MK1 only that is still up for debate. i do know its complete bullshit now i don't even care bout MK anymore its complete trash.
@@Machete87 it’s just a theory of mine, but I think SBI had at least some involvement in the game SBI’s goal is to infect and squeeze thier way into as many games as possible and since they are partnered with WB Gamed (NRS’s parent company), I am very sure they would at least have some involvement with MK1. I liked the iron man idea. However, having a female sektor and cyrax is a bad idea. Sektor is mcu captain marvel and cyrax is a mcu okoye. MCU playbook will destroy mortal kombat to they abyss. There is no creativity, refuse to expand there universe and are killing off there characters.
