I am sitting and listening to your videos at mid night explain how great your lectures are, I am multi-lingual hence understand Hindi. Thanks for the entire series of video. No words to praise your effort.
Two points to consider 1. 13:10 you actually calculated "no of seconds for 1 rotation", but we need to calculate "no of rotations in one second" = 3000/60. 2. 14:18 Data access time, = {(Seek time) + (Rotational Latency) + (Data Transfer Time)}, rotational latency, not rotation time.
If you are watching in lockdown believe me you are one of the rare species on the earth, many students are wasting time watching webseries, netflix, pubg ,etc but you are working hard, all the best . nitjstudenthere

09:00 if you can rotate both clockwise or anticlockwise the maximum rotation you need to perform is only half of the disk. so half rotational time should be the worst case
13:56 - 14:10 disk access time formula RT stands for Rotation time or Rotational Letancy. You are saying rotational letancy then must be RL not RT. Please explain

To calculate the number of "BIT"s for a 1T.B DISK , we need 43"BIT"s , in the place of 40"BIT"s because 2^3 should be multiplied because HARDDISK is one sort of memory (i.e SECONDARY MEMORY) , which is "BYTE-ADDRESSABLE" not "BIT-ADDRESSABLE".

Yes, each track contain same number of sectors and each sector still contains the same number of bytes, the outer sectors have lower bit density than the inner ones, which is an inefficient use of the magnetic surface .
All heads are connected with same arm. so all will move parallel at same time. yes data will be fetched by one but movement sabhi ka hoga. Disk access time = ST + RL(Rotational Latency) + TT
Bro is this correct or what sir said is correct??
@@RaviTeja-cd2tp Sir said the same but written RT instead of RL by mistake.
