Randomly started watching old GMM and happened to watch this ep after hearing their newest podcast abt going to the magic castle again recently. Little did they know when they said they would only go once, that they would go 3 more times 😂

Hey guys, I've been doing magic for 13 years. Getting to be part of the magic castle is a HUGE compliment. I have a really good friend who works there as a stage magician. It's a great place.
Wow, Rhett actually looks a like he's turning into a werewolf when he looked at the camera.
Rick Thomas was my favorite magician as a kid! I saw him in vegas visiting my family, and I couldn't forget it :)
The end made me smile. Rhett, with the beard, you do resemble a werewolf!

besides the whole video in general, my favorite part was when Rhett pronounced "wolf" like a true Carolina boy. : D
This episode gives me memories of Hamish and Andy's visit to the magic castle. R&L and H&A might just be the funniest best friend duos. :D

I always knew it!! Rhett IS a werewolf!! Glad someone finally exposed it. ;) I've always loved illusions. What I loved better was figuring out how they work. Like on "Magic's greatest secrets finally revealed". Now me and my mom will pause, rewind, and slo-mo magic tricks to see how they work. Every. Time.

I went to the Magic Castle a couple of weeks ago! It seriously blew my mind. They made a stuffed animal turn into a real dog, and I still can't figure it out. I also can't figure out how they made their bread so fluffy and delicious.

I saw a magician a few years ago at a concert Myrtle Beach. I wish I could remember his name. It was only one trick. He was suppose to escape from a electrified cage 40 feet in the air before it exploded. Well the electricity didn't work and when the assistant ran a metal rod over the cage it only gave off tiny sparks. Then when he went to "escape" from the cage using his super strength the second he touch the bar it broke loose so he had to pretend to struggle for a full minute. BEST SHOW EVER!
It's funny because Rhett actually looks kind of like a were wolf. :o

I STILL don't believe that was an accident. I can understand the shirt, that happens to me all the time, but the hoodie, too? lol
i can do some magic stuff and Rhett's right it doesn't matter which one you guess, cause he knows where it is all the time and you won't be able to see it... When they do it on the street they let you win so you build up a self confidence and then when you bet money or something (it's illegal but if you would bet something) they will trick you so you get it always wrong... that's how it works ( i can't do it with nuts but with the three card monte, so with cards) :) Great episode! :)

the steps on that kind of magic tricks where you tear or shuffle cards usually depend on permutations, and skipping a step or doing it wrong can affect the sequence, maybe that's what happened

The Magic Castle reminds me of the Night Circus in Erin Morgenstern's book, except it's all about magicians. I want to go there, but it doesn't seem easy to get connections. It sounds amazing though!!! And Link's face at the last second!
