Its not for everyone. Im neither hating it or loving it. Its a sweet little story; good for the kids. But some late-teen and early-20s like it, probably for the music and song element (blame that on the "Glee" generation). To each his own.

I LOVED Maleficent. It was visually stunning, and I loved Maleficent's character development, and I was with her choices every single step of the way, I understood why she became the way she did with no questions. It was beautiful. I give it 4.5/5 stars. I would definitely see it again.

I am a 21 year old man and have followed Disney movies my whole life. I enjoyed the movie on the sole basis that (spoiler alert) Maleficent was there for Aroura the WHOLE TIME!! It blew my mind to find out that she LOVED her all along and was actually like a guardian angel for the child she cursed. GREAT MOVIE!!!!
That was a weird ending. Link got distracted by his phone, acted like he may have been unhappy with what he was looking at, and then said, "Thank you. See you tomorrow." Sounded like a strange thing for Link to end with.
+Lisa Wilson It was a bit weird. It's like Link lost interest in the lemur story and then all of a sudden he was signing off for the episode.

I totally agree with Link's comment about the parallel in Frozen and Maleficent. It's an excellent concept, but having seen that idea in Frozen ruined it in Maleficent for me :/ Maleficent was visually incredible though, loved that aspect!

Are you really not allowed to take snacks from outside into theatres in the US? I normally walk in with the snacks just in a supermarket carrier bag and they never say anything. I've even seen people eating a Burger King in the cinema.
You aren't supposed to bring in anything from outside sources, even water bottles, but most people sneak stuff in anyways and don't get caught
No, we have to smuggle them in. That way they can overcharge us for concessions.
Here in the states you aren't allowed to bring in outside food or drink because they want you to pay the high prices for their stuff.
Theatre Smuggling is a delicate trade, involving secracy, and good snacks.
You know, wear hoodies, take overly large bags with candy, soda and plastic bags of popcorn. It's pretty normal.
They should do a good mythical before, a short intro or a small vlog sort if before the actual show

I saw Maleficent and I really liked it.
It was $70 for me my brother, sister and dad to go see big hero 6 but it was worth it, movies are really expensive where i live (Australia). I also watched the Hobbit in the Imax in Sydney (its the biggest in the world at around 117 ft or 35m) in 3D for the same price and it was literally the most amazing experience ever, I'm not even joking when I say you felt like you were in the actual movie. Plus what i think link meant by the parallels was that Anna finds out you cant just fall in love with the first person you meet like in all fairytales which was what the princess and that guy do when they meet.
let me do the maths for the same here in Chile. Normal movie tickets $6x4 = $24, popcorn promo for 2 is $20x2 = $40 and 24+40 = $64, pretty much the same...

This was a very chill Good Mythical More. I saw Maleficent alone cause well I'm just a loner sometimes, and I rather enjoyed myself. It had it's cliché moments but over all it was a fundamentally good movie.

i was iffy about the movie myself but seeing the movie i was very surprised, all over i would give the movie a 7-10 the beginning is alittle slow but i loved seeing the prospective of maleficent, it explains why maleficent is perceived so cold, i could relate to her without even going thru anything she has, i also loved frozen but rated for me frozen is on a whole different scale

I'm 16 and i obviously don't have a kid. Neither do i like movies like Maleficent. But i went and watched it anyways because Angelina Jolie was in it. LOL. It wasn't that bad..Kinda boring and cliche at times but Angelina's acting was so good! 6.5/10. (:
Sidenote: HOW CAN LINK NOT LIKE THE FAIRIES?? Especially when the "main" one was Ronald Weasley's mother in Harry Potter?! I was fan girl-ing a little when i saw her! haha. And i will never watch Frozen. Oh god..just the thought of "Let it Go"...
I actually agree with Link, the fairy women were a bit annoying. I can tolerate annoying animated characters because at least their exaggerated animation fit the character but it just doesn't work with live action. Plus I think they were the most unfit parents of all time. They nearly had the child fall off a cliff!

I saw Maleficent with my friend and we are both Potterheads. When Umbridge the fairy was left in charge of Aurora the Potter quotes never stopped. It went from "I really hate children" to "I WILL have order!"

My aunt once brought Olive Garden into the movie theatre. soup and breadsticks for 6 people. Also, one of my best friends and her cousin brought a huge thing (like a gallon) of snapple and alcohol into the theatre and got really drunk. It was a good time haha

At the theatre in my town, you can get popcorn, drinks, and tickets for 2 adults and 2 kids for $40, it's cool.
8:40 that is false rhett, two spiecies are said to have diverged when they can no longer create viable (fertile) offspring with one another. That is why even though lions and tigers can make ligers/tigons and donkies and horses can make mules, they all are considered separate species because the offspring are not capable of producing their own young.

I think Rhett and link should have an episode, where they tell us the top ten craziest movie or play theaters. The only reason I say this is because of the Minnesota science museum, that has a dome shaped theater.

Rhett's slightly wrong about the species interbreeding thing. When animals can no longer interbreed, they become a new **genus**, not a new species. Members of different species can interbreed, as long as they are in the same genus. That's why you can cross, for example, lions (Panthera leo) and tigers (Panthera tigris) to create ligers or tions. At least, that's the idea behind the genus-species taxonomy. In practice, it doesn't always work out so smoothly.
