Inconsistent sizes in the same pack and shrinkage. Thank you so much for this review, you saved me time and money. I appreciate this detailed, awesome review.
I actually work in the apparel industry. Shrinkage is a normal characteristic of fabric. However, most manufacturers pre-shrink the whole roll of fabric before cutting it into patterns. If the shirt shrinks excessively then it means they cut costs by not pre-shrinking and that also allows them to make MORE shirts because the fabric hasn't shrunken yet.

I agree. The issues outlined turn me off as well. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a brand that can offer consistency so that two shirts of the same size but different colors fit even roughly the same. So disappointing.

You mentioned you were 5'10 225. When I plugged that into the site it says you should buy XXL. However you said you ordered XL. I can see why it would fit shorter and tighter if you were suppose to buy the next size up.

At the time, I was working out and losing weight. I like my shirts a little tighter than XXL. But yes, I agree, the larger size would've been a better fit. But even the XXL that they sent me were still inconsistent.

I was thinking about getting for my guy, he is 6'5", but shrinking is a no go. Wish clothimg companies would spend ten cents of water to prewash material!! I'll gladly pay the extra to know it won't shrink! Thanks so very much for thorough review!!
basically none of the shirts you received were great
Online they said it was ~60% cotton. That's a no. And inconsistent sizing? Double-no.
They shrink way more than advertised. Don’t wash on warm/hot and don’t put them in the dryer. Also I tried the long versions to see if that would help but they are crazy long, for 6’6” giants :) Other than that the fit is good, just can’t wash them normally
"We recommend washing on cold and laying flat to dry, or use a low temp dryer setting."
These are just average quality Chinese shirts masquerading as high quality, t-shirts that are reinventing the game. There’s nothing spectacular about these in any way.
Bought a 6 pack. Got it yesterday. Opened on shirt and the collar was loose but the rest of the shirt was tight. Like EXTREMELY tight around the stomach area to the point there's no way I would ever even wear it. Sending them back. It's just so disappointing for two reasons. #1 because they put hundreds of ads in my videos and web searches saying how great they fit #2 because I actually fell for that bullshit

Best fitting shirts for fat dad bods are the Eddie Bauer shirts at Sam’s. I bought about 75 shirts all different colors. They’re like $8 I think. Try it and you’ll be back to clear the shelf.
I agree with you, my wife bought some for me and those are the only shirts I wear now.

@@Prxsumo Hey whats up Juice. At this point, after I've had these for several months, I feel it would be cheaper to hit Walmart and pick up some George T-shirts. They both last about the same, same material, but the George brand is between 5-7 bucks cheaper. Plus you're not paying shipping. Only thing i really like more is the way the TCT fit around my arms. But with prices these days, I'll be a Walmart shopper for awhile. Thanks for watching.

I’ve watched several reviews and from what I can tell these t’s are not worth the cost. For plain old t-shirts they are way to expensive. I’m also tired of the business model of pay twice the cost so a company can donate to charity. I’m paying 50% in taxes at this point, the government should be taking care of our veterans.

Thank you for an honest review. I'm always on the lookout for quality cotton tees for my husband and myself. Variable sizes, inconsistent quality, shrinkage, it makes them useless. When I find the right quality, I buy my preferred tees off season when they're on sale.
I heavily recommend outdoor voices. Specifically cloudknit line. The whole lineup is amazing. Spent almost a grand on them. Fits great, feels godly
I like your Wal-Mart shirt better. Thanks for the video, I also took note of inconsistent sizing. Saw another video from a smaller guy and he had no problems. Now I have to check out some more videos, but I'm really taking your comments into consideration

I couldn't believe how much they shrank after the first wash, I anticipated some shrinkage, but it made them unwearable for me unfortunately.

I had the same issue when I bought a True Classic T-shirt. I ordered online. I didn’t like the way it fit me so I returned it, I got charged $5.00 to return it. You’re better off buying the soft washed T-shirts at Old Navy.
It was a George t-shirt. I think it was $5.00 a piece.
Was going to buy one to try but found out they are made in China. I'm sick of everything being made in China. Your review is very good!

The customer service probably depends on who helps you. I had a terribly experience, they were slow with response, and they pretty much told me that it was my fault that the threading came loose

Save your money and buy the NextLevel 6210 for 6 dollars. Been rocking them for years, the same fit for far less. Brands buy NextLevel in bulk because of the rip-away tags that allow them to print their brand and the AWESOME fit. Trust me on this. Blank Apparel has some. Do your research(no offense to the guy doing this legit review). I'm 5'11 195 muscular not the steroid look but the biker look. Trust me on this get NextLevel 6210!

Inconsistent sizes is right. Some shirts fit good and stay good while others shrink to being unwearable after one wash. Also they stain really easily and couple shirts have really loose collars and it sucks. These shirts honestly are not that good. Not worth what they are asking for
I give them credit for trying to send me replacement tees for the ones that shrunk but even the replacement tees shrink and are of poor quality. They really need to invest in making sure every tee shirt is exactly the same and they all have good stitching and don't shrink.

They suck i have 3 dont waste the money.
Bought 5 tee in xl all were marked xl but 3 of them were a different size and came from a different country. Poor customer service and lack of quality control, will not do business with them again

I'm glad someone took the time to review these shirts.. AND ACTUALLY TURN ON THE COMMENTS.. if you go to the actual commercial comments are TURNED OFF .. that's not a good sign..with stupid ass commercials like there's it's probably for good reason..
Yep they don't leave the comments on for a reason! I'm so pissed I wasted money on these t shirts. They are so cheaply made. One was unraveling and had a seam actually coming loose by the end of the day on the first wear. Hadn't even been washed yet!😭

Oh damn!! Small world friend!! Your product review popped up for True Classic since I'm looking at buying some for my hubby. Thanks for a great review!! My hubby is 6'1 and 240 and he wears 2XL . His major problem is short length with a longer torso. And shirts shrinking or being inconsistent is not good. I have received a 20% promo and a bundle price discount so I'll give these a try. As long as customer service doesn't give me a hard time about returning if these don't work out.

OMG! I AM ONLY 6'2"" 205LBS. MY CHEST IS 45 INCHES.
THESE THINGS ARE MADE FOR LITTLE BOYS. Chatted with then thry reccomebded a M or L. RIGHT! I haven't worn that sizr sonce I was 14.

True Classics suck, I have pilling under the arms after a single wearing, the light gray shirt looks like it has been bleached after one washing and the return policy is a joke, unworn, unwashed, in OG packaging and you pay the shipping. I have same sizing selected but depending on the shirt they fit differently- just say no to their stupid scammy clothes.
I made the mistake of ordering a bunch of TC stuff after an original gift of them seemed ok. One wash and they’re all too short. Borderline 80’s workout crop top. I may order one in a Tall size just to see if the good body fit can join forces with being long enough to withstand normal drying on low. Pity, because they have so many styles that are just perfect for someone looking to load up on interchangeable staples.
For the price they're charging, I'd want more consistency of fit, so I really appreciate your providing this review.

Yeah. I've found them to be inconsistent unfortunately. I'm holding the pen to my Note 9. Kinda like a remote.
Keep it up brother. good first video, but could improve the audio (get a mic!). think you could really dive into doing reviews for more dad bods and target that niche. for most people I see true classic tees fitting well, but it's different for you since you got a dad bod. but that may be great for you to do reviews since there arent a lot of dad bod reviews. id imagine this video provided excellent insight for those with dad bods.

The product is a POC and I am genuinely PO’d! The fitment sucks, kinda like the way you described it at 4:49
I am 6’4 and slightly on the “skinny fat” side. Got the XL t shirt and polo shirt for starters. (Good thing, I only wasted 50 dollars. ) Both are tight in the shoulders, tight in the chest area. Surprisingly the mid section fits well but the very bottom of the shirt is tight. Just awkward all together. Makes me look like a sausage in a casing. Or as if, I was wearing a wetsuit, ready to jump ship. BUT - even if I was able to get over the way they fit, there’s no way I can get over the material of the shirt. It’s kind of like some cheap polyester from the 1970’s. It’s so thin that my nipples will print through. Heck, you could have pimples and it would show. I carry my firearm IWB at 4. No way I could do that wearing this shirt, no way!
To be honest, I am not even mad with the company for selling me some cheap shirts. Am mad with myself for falling for this scam, lol! At this point I won’t even try returning these bc it’s not worth my time going down to the post office. Gonna toss them in the trash bin and call it a day.... btw, your Walmart shirt looks much better than the “wetsuit”. :) thanks for uploading your review 😎
No offence, mate...but besides the different sizes (which might be a logistics error), some shrinkage is normal (washing at 30 d. celcius tops, if it contains a lot of cotton). But and again, no offence...I think you pushing the boundaries of expectance body type wise here...look at the models in the ads. Not really your body type (NOT shaming it). I think it's for men with an athletic upperbody but in there 40's/50's, having a hard time losing the little belly fat...so, you look like a nice dude, so I wish you a great workout plan and, better health in consequence and a better result, as you say...🙂

I'm an expert in clothing and textiles, folks don't fall for this anymore. Abercrombie and fitch to Walmart, they all go to the same sources, enough said.

I've bought tees from them and after a few washes the collar started to fray...and they shrank. I also noticed that they stain easily, like from deodorant, sweat and food. Other shirts I can use a stain remover and they're gone, for these, no such luck. Won't be buying these again.
Yes, now that I've had these for a few months, I noticed they do stain very easily. I actually already tossed mine away.

I think you should go down a size or two. Xxl is more probably for 6 ft plus guys.....thats why the sleeves are so long.

It has no box design, You bought a size too big, and you might want the athletic variant as its tighter. I recently bought them and was very happy with the fit if you want something that is more tight buy a size smaller. at 5 10 for tight you may want a medium or even a small make sure to use the fit calculator on their sight
Thanks for showing the difference in sizes. It’s interesting how the green XXL fit way different from the darker XXL shirts. I wish I would have watched this before I ordered my shirts today!

Great & Helpful review I was in instagram and saw the Ad so I hopped on their website and bought a 3 pack of the crew tees and 3 pack of the long sleeves I’m anxious to see how they will fit but after watching your review I’m certain I made the right purchase as to sizing I as well used the sizing calculator hope they workout in the long run. I did the opposite of what you did, I went from 2xl to xl because the 2xl felt like I was wearing a potato sack. I usually wear xl but the company website recommended 2x. After going to xl I am still unsure about them, they don’t fit as well around the belly as some other shirts that are much cheaper do.

Check the manufactured location on the shirts that are smaller, I guarantee they say vietnam, where as the nice fitting ones say China. THeir manufacturers aren't consistant
