- In this vlog, we went to the county near our village, including xiushan mountain, confucius temple and oldwatch's middle school. An incidence happened when viona slipped and fell in xiushan and damaged her camera.
Besides, we eat the delicious fried potatoes and the local masjid to show you around the places and streets of tonghai.

I love the city - the walking street, buildings, the drains with plants growing out of it & the carvings on the doors/walls. I should start making notes of places to visit & the halal eateries 😂. Thanks oldwatch & viona for sharing your adventures with us!

Yunnan is a very large province. My wife and I only managed to visit Kunming, Juanshui, Shadian and of course your kampung (village) to offer Friday prayer at the Najiaying Mosque. We were introduced to Osman and he took us to his house to enjoy the pu'er tea. I think you know Osman because I saw him in Viona's video during a wedding. It was a memorable visit to your kampung. ❤ When we were in Shadian last January 2024, the Grand Mosque was under reconstruction. I heard the reconstruction has completed. We wish you and Viona will go to Shadian to create a content about the Grand Mosque and other smaller mosques as well as the morning street market near the mosque. ❤

i lived in Ossterrreich (Austria) there's like small Muslim community in here, so when we see other muslim,,, like they are wear Hijab for women or beard for men, we used to say salam, and they will replay our salam, even though we dont know each other personally,,, but we know that we are muslim from our appearances (Hijabi for Women, Beard or using muslim caps for men),,, in Salam also have suplicate in it,,, so that means as muslims we give suplicate for fellow muslims as well,,, like you in Indonesia or malaysia,,, local muslim in there will say salam (suplicate) to you no matter if you're chinese, black african people or western people but as long we recognize the islamic identity, so we says salam (suplicate),,, and Prophet Muhammad says in Hadits that the best muslim is the one who first to say salam

If a Malaysian go to your county or china in general
- how do we find a halal restaurant . Or can we know whether or not the restaurant is halal. Can you show us how to pronounce proper word when we ask a direction to nearest halal restaurant. May I suggest that you promote a Halal Logo to be placed at all muslim halal restaurant/cafe and small food shop. The logo will help foreigners a lot. Maybe you have to work with masjid or Islamic Office to do so.
- can you show muslim kungfu/self defence school, how foreigner can send their kids to learn some self defence during holiday?.
- can you also show any religious school. How and when chinese muslim parents send their children to these muslim religious school i..e Madrasah

You can flight KL to Kunming, and the county is a small county, called Tonghai, such county is everywhere, nothing special...😂Yunnan is a province like spring all the year round, so in theory, any season is suitable for travel. It's close to Malaysia.

首先中国不是一个宗教国家 只不过信仰佛教的人比较多 我怀疑你应该不是在中国长大受教育吧？我就感觉信一神教的人都很保守 很少跟其它组群接触 还莫名有一种优越感 高特出 好像信穆斯林人的宗教信仰远远大于国家利益 我也不了解中国的回族的母语是中文还是阿拉伯语
是汉族，我们各种节日好像就是拜祖宗，烧元宝，然后有些不放假的比如中元节是道教节日，家里过的还比较隆重的，比端午中秋什么都隆重，然而长辈从来不讲是干嘛是什么教的，还是上网查的到底是什么节；然后还有什么拜土地公公，反正哪天所有花坛里被插满了香就是；然后家里长辈有过年之前吃素的，好像和佛教有关，大年初一拜年也很多亲戚会去庙里烧香。村里经常有庙但是也是佛教道教什么乱七八糟的都混在一起，其实去了庙里也不知道拜的是谁，但是旅游或者出行如果经过庙门口挺多人会去拜一拜的。
但是最多的还是拜祖宗，不管是过年还是清明还是中元节还是中秋节，烧完饭都是要摆好然后点好蜡烛（虽然现在这两年我外婆换成电子蜡烛了），烧香，烧元宝每个节日都要烧，自己买黄纸叠的时候要念经或者就是买别人边念经变叠好的，不然烧了祖宗也收不到还是啥（然而真的有几个人信吗），放好酒，所有人拜过之后，才能吃饭。如果是冬天的节日，等吃的时候一大半饭菜都冷掉了，因为不能温着，得摆出来“给祖宗先吃”。古时候人应该很信吧，政治斗争不是死了老挖别人坟毁墓，还有活着就查清祖坟都在哪然后派兵在哪威胁。武则天想传武家不也因为别人说只要儿子祭拜妈妈哪有侄子祭拜姑姑的，敢当古代父权制下唯一一个女皇帝但也怕没后代给自己上坟。
