For ultrasound, should I use far-field or near field, is that means ultrasound can detect only elements which reside at far-field.

do you know how can I build a single point acoustic source in comsol?
it should have this equation 𝑄𝑚(t) = α𝑒−𝑡/𝜏 sin(2𝜋𝑓𝑡).i don’t know how I can build a sinusoidal acoustic single point source that decays after times.
it means a lot if you can help me.thanks.

Time dependent study, add source under physics and define the decaying amplitude under definitions.

You defined the voltage, but what current is applied then?

You can not apply both the independent variable voltage and the dependent variable current. That is general principle unrelated to comsol.
