Seth & Adele went "Out with a Bang" as expected and Adele was the one, who managed to kill him with her passive. I could hear Adam speak his defeat lines, even through the Game Over screen. It was a hilarious moment, despite the tense and dragged out 40min of my life with very little room for missplays. Against my expectations, he never used Deathstorm ever again in the next winning attempt. ...and i didn't exactly built my party with a high damage output in mind.
I remember having a hard time doing this fight. Then I searched up his weaknesses and found out hes weak to paralysis. Proceeded to have gloria run phantom and salve maker and did it second try
Just beat this boss for the first time without taking damage. On my first attempt, I got absolutely slaughtered before doing any damage to him. He does so much damage, that the solution is to never let him attack at all. A results guaranteed shadowbind spamming Elvis froze the hellblade in place, while everyone else defaulted and waited. Then, Seth used his special to boost attack, and Adelle went berserk and launched three dream within a dreams, doing 60k damage in a single turn. Seth followed up with some beast master skills, but it still wasn’t enough to finish the job. Adam was at three BP by this point from counters, and I was afraid. I defaulted more to try and set up another combo, and used Adelles special in the process to keep the buffs going. Right before another combo was about to start and adelles special run out, I used Elvis’ special to boost crit rate and extend the timer AGAIN. Another 60k combo with adelle wasn’t enough to kill due to Adam’s regeneration, and Elvis was running low on MP for shadowbind. I had shield master Gloria use her special and give MP to Elvis to remedy this, and went into the negatives for the first time in a boss fight in the whole playthrough. Just as the last special theme was about to end, Seth finishes off the hellblade with one last phantom skill, in what is quite possibly the most hype I have ever felt playing a jrpg. I am honestly super excited to see where this game goes as I enter the final chapter (I think)
Dark Knight was the better job to use in your party but Hellblade also gave you arguably the strongest passive ability in the series (Surpassing Power) wich must account for something.
This boss battle was an emotional roller coaster on hard.
Adam pulling out Deathstorm in the final phase and wiping my entire party sure was... something.

my first try took more than 30 mins, so not sure this counts as "extended"

Which is better: Dark knight or Hellblade?
Dark Knight for life, tho Hellblade was a cool experimental version of it
Dark knight obviously, dark bane alone deals more damage than any of the blades from hellblade
