So was the canvas's not double roller drives then? MacDon's green feed swather header here in Manitoba has drives at both ends of the the canvas's (so 4 total) plus coated rollers.
Very interesting, this idea would been great this year as been drought, instead of cutting crop then baling, I could done with setup n unloading into stack or silage roll. I bet I would save money n time doing this way.
There’s a appreciable amount of engineering that went into this unit. We went with a MacDon on our 8400 and have been running it for a few years. th-cam.com/video/pGhYm-xhXAs/w-d-xo.html
Hello from Denmark. My English isn't so good so I may have misheard it, but what kind of animals is this for, cattles, cows, or something else? How do you store it? Is it as silage or something else? Thank you for another great video 😀
@15:00 he talks about the customer's needs and what he's feeding. The mature cereal rye is going to a methane/biogas digester. Quality really isn't all that critical.
martin gauthier stop weeds building up for subsequent crops? Keep mycotoxins to a minimum? Stop insect build up to protect adjacent crops? Heaps of potential reasons to spray.
Don't break my heart lol. We do think this is the first Draper X9 deere combo in the world. We are fully aware MacDon etc have at this for a long time. Even X7 series deeres.
Donkey i remeber when you set beside me giving a dvd to me in my house i was so happy that day
Top video. More of this with great technical detail.
Great video. That's an awesome combination right there
Hi Donkey that is awsome to see combine header on foreger well done
Great video really interesting looks a great piece of kit 👍 cheers mate 👍
Looks a really nice setup 👌
A "very enjoyable watch" Great video!! 👍
Donkey getting excited when he saw the 8400!! Lol
I've been to R.Hunt was looking for tractors back in 2016...
You should do a collaboration with these guys.
Been running draper headers on choppers here australia for years now

We had a John Deere combine maize head on a claas jag in the 90s, not the first combine head on a forager
We werent meaning it like that. We meant it's the 1st 8000/9000 series running a draper head. That was all.
@@Grassmen Then why do you say in the video "the first forager draper header combination"?
@@Klajnepojken because it is the the first 9series Deere and Draper header combination.
Sort of like reinventing the wheel.

Very Good Video Great s Richard
Very good video
Fear the Deere @grassmen
Can't they go faster with a disco header?
Ok now find a combine with a forage header
its called a draper head
Can some please tell me the name of the music in this video ?
Maybe I'm showing my age, but that looks like an awful lot of expensive machinery for what I remember as quite quite a simple job.
Hello guys from sweden (Y)

TheSad1980 It is Hybrid Rye wholecrop for Biogas production. It is stored in Agbags.
For biogas of course. That makes sense. Thank you for your answer
Would Hunt forest group sell one of these out of their Sparkford branch? XD
Isn’t the rye way mature? We cut ours at preboot stage

I mean MacDon makes combine style-headers on to mowers in the USA why not put a thing on a forage harvester, that´s not all that off.
That looks like a lot of good cow chow going to waste - so to speak.
Forager with a combine attachment 🤣
I like John deere braned
l like this video l would love to work trailer work
Why has this crop been spayed if it was going to forage?
martin gauthier stop weeds building up for subsequent crops? Keep mycotoxins to a minimum? Stop insect build up to protect adjacent crops? Heaps of potential reasons to spray.
Not for animal forage
Stupud, overpowered machinery for the job at hand....
I hate to break it to you but the Americans have beat you to that idea and we have been doing that for five years so nice try

GRASSMEN we have a claas choper and did run a 35ft Draper and now with the same choper we run a 45ft now
@@farmermo4464 this is awsome. We feel like we have missed something mega lol.
