John Deere X9 1000 in the UK in 2023

This video is about the John Deere X9 1000 & features a John Deere 6R corn trailering which kicks in after a few minutes so don’t miss some of the best bits by only watching the great close ups of the X9 as the panoramic distance shots show the area it is working in.
Many thanks go to the farm manager for letting me film this impressive combine in action.
The machine used its 45 foot header and some of it’s 700 horse power to fly through the crop at over 5kph with next to no losses and in such a decent crop of oilseed rape, it really was impressive.
There are lots of John Deere tractors carting the OSR back to the farm yard and they are all brand new so lots to see for the new tech fans.
If you keep watching until 3/4 towards the end of the video there's a real treat for the tech nerds like me where the combine takes over everything.
The machine sync was really impressive where by the combine controlled the tractor and trailer catching the oilseed rape. The combine driver literally steered where the tractor and trailer went while alongside emptying the combines tank, very clever stuff when seen actually working in the field.
This video shows the X9 working well but not under much pressure even with a mammoth 45 feet header.

Just love the jd machine effortlessly eating up the crop a tight window with weather making a profit by getting to the supplier in double quick time.the general public are oblivious to what happens at this time of year but time is of essence respect to you guys after a frustrating july

I have never seen an x9 without the active spout. Are the x9's beginning to make a dent in the lexions market share in the area?

Wow. Impressive that the combine controls the grain cart, did it put 16 ton in that second cart in one hit? thats a huge tank and output if it did.

Yes it’s impressive watching the combine driver steer the tractor from the combine seat 😳😳 when you see it in the flesh it’s really cool.
It took a couple of unloads to fill the trailer with oilseed rape, but.
If it was a heavy wheat crop and he was unloading on the move he wouldn’t be far off filling the trailer in one go 😳😳👍

No not that I’m aware of, there’s not enough big fields and too many narrow roads to thread them down 🙁🙁

I don't think HoneyBee is in the UK at all. There are MacDon 50 foots in the UK however. I suspect if a farmer really wanted too he could get a HoneyBee or GTS 60ft imported but that would be a lot of money
