It's such a shame that Crush 40 couldn't have come up with just -one- year earlier than they did. I have little doubt that this would have made it into Generations if it did.
This mod still works really well despite it not getting an update since 2013!!! I had no issues with it conflicting with my other mods and it makes the fight feel a lot less clunky!! During my first playthrough of this fight it felt like I was getting nothing done but this mod fixes that!!!!!!
I appreciate the thought! I've currently been doing some work on a Werehog mod for Unleashed which has somewhat got me reacclimated with Hedgehog Engine modding. I may come back to this at some point soon and put it up on Gamebanana. If you have any suggestions, lmk. :)

Where was this my whole life? Also I know this is like 7 years old but one cool thing would be is replace the music for the final hit with a remix of the title screen music maybe.
-Slowed down Sonic so that it's more difficult to catch Time Eater simply by boosting -Increased ring depletion rate I think these two make this mod less appealing. Could you please make a version without these "additions" Thank you. :D
@@junglejuicejuno yeah but it's still hard to see the rings, you could give me magnetism X 100, but if i can't see the rings it doesn't change much (also don't say why reply to a 4 yr old comment bc you replied to a 3 yr old one)

Why can't the remaster's fight be similar to this modded fight here? If the Time Eater fight should've been like that in the remaster, then I assure that Sonic X Shadow Generations would've been a perfect 3D Sonic game. But it wasn't meant to be.
@@thesmashor4396 That actually a good idea, i imagine that since super sonic is invincible, Time eater reverses time on him making super sonic lose rings

a sonic that pretty much goes over all sonic games as the music of the final boss in the game that pretty much goes over every sonic game how fitting
Next try replacing the Super Sonic theme from Sonic 4 (it plays at the end of the fight) with the transformation theme from SA2.

Basically, modern's homing attack is better, so swap to classic to break debris blocking the way
I think it would've been cool to remove almost all of the side character voices, but replace some of them with lines for Sonic to say.

The power in Generations, "Super Sonic" the ring-counter will drop faster than usual. With that, he must've enabaled it by accident.

Make rings appear less often (Especially in hard mode) and possibly make a version with the original Time Eater Theme. I love that.
Or make Time Eater able to damage Super Sonic

It's too bad that even if you know what to do, the boss fight is still really bland and uninteresting.
