I'm glad you're bringing attention to Artisan Pure, which is, in my humble opinion, a thoughtfully constructed fragrance that is underappreciated just because it's cheap and accessible.

I actually have both, and for the most part I agree with everything you said. My only problem with artisan pure is that the orange blossom in the beginning and the mid really does remind me of cleaning products. I typically don’t let that bother me, but in this composition the resemblance is higher then other fragrances like it on the market. None the less, I do think it’s great quality for the money
Love Artisan Pure! Snagged a backup bottle back during the jv bankruptcy or whatever just in case because I really do enjoy it, especially for the price!
AC did you maybe try xerjoff renaissance? I was thinking about that fragrance as a replacement for Nio. I believe that the smell is a lot different, but it's half the price of the Nio.

Artisan Pure on my skin and clothes smells like a bathroom cleaner or some kind of detergent / dishwasher fluid. Is Nio worth the difference in price? Maybe not... but I cant see myself ever wearing Artisan Pure, I don't enjoy it at all

A middle point in terms of price between Nio an Artisan Pure is Ormonde Jayne’s Isfarkand. As much as I love Xerjoff as a house, I couldn’t bring myself to purchase Nio when Isfarkand smells identical to my nose but at half the price

Its only in OJ’s elixirs and bespoke’s higher concentration ones that the prices are somewhat predictable and those ones are on the same level as Xerjoff’s Shooting Stars collection prices (the collection Nio is part of). But OJ’s Isfarkand (the normal edp, not Isfarkand elixir) is one of their cheaper offering (£110-120 for 50ml, £160 for 120ml). It even went on sale for £70 for the 50ml, £110 for the 120ml last week at selfridges.
I have the original Artisan, the performance are so bad that I could not buy Aritisan Pure. I would not pay the price of Nio, my summer scents are Galloway, Prada Amber, Gorse and other better quality/performance ones.

Oh I never got that smell to be honest.
For me it may smell like a cheap soap. I guess it also depends on your nose.

I think the OJs are the same sort of price range as Xerjoffs if I am not mistaken.

I like nice bergamote from essential parfums. 75 dollars US for 100ml
250,, but I think 150 costs the packaging....instead of investing in the product, they put more into the packaging ,,, to give nice

AC try Haramain Portfolio Neroli…that’s like the older, stronger brother of TF NP! And way better than Nishane Colognise.

I think the mistake I've been making is wearing Artisan pure in the high heat... I'll try slightly cooler weather.
