Finally tried a sample of Nio after seeing you mention it for so long. This is a very nice fragrance. Very citrusy but it smells more luxurious (if that's a thing lol). Thanks for making all of these videos and pointing us in the right direction on what to try.
Nio is a perfect composition. Opens super citrusy and dries down to a floral slightly creamy citrus smell. Kind of reminds me of a mix of soleil blanc and neroli portofino but stronger citrus. This almost feels like a pour femme fragrance though and i don’t feel like it suits me super well. I’d be quick to recommend a sample though. Very very nice citrus fragrance.
Jon Italia I love MI but I got kind of tired of it too. if you haven’t tried it I’d go for Silver Mountain Water or Xerjoff Mefisto Genitiluomo. I love the dna of those types of fragrances. I also love Nishane Colognise. Similar smell to 4711 or neroli portofino if you’ve tried those. And finally yes I absolutely recommend trying Nio!! To me it’s a perfect hot weather fragrance :)
Jon Italia Yes SMW is pretty abrasive especially in the opening! Mefisto Gentiluomo Is a rounder version of that fragrance in my opinion. I think you’ll like it.
I own about a dozen Xerjoffs, I chose kobe over this but when I was buying a couple of them. Nio is still incredible, and powerful for a citrus scent. Incredible review as always 👑
This fragrance reminds me of my childhood, and a family member who had the greatest influence on my life growing up! I have to get a full bottle; this is dear to my heart. Never before have I had a nostalgic experience with a fragrance such as this!
Yo!! Great review! Nio was one of the first purchases as part of my exploration of warm weather fragrances about 1.5 years ago BUT I’m just starting to give it real wearings. Love this one! PS- That Polo shirt and bow tie combo is the bomb 💣
I got a sample of Nio and yes it’s beautiful. But it smells just like another perfume I have. Nishane Wulong Cha. They’re like 99% similar. As soon as I sprayed it I knew I smelt it before. Nio is beautiful, I admit it BUT it’s a copy of Nishane . I find that these nishe houses constantly steal from eachother. The more perfumes I sample and collect, the more familiar I am with them so I know right away when it’s a copy, soo I decided not to buy Nio and got Naxos instead. And I FUNALLY bought Tauer L’air du desert marocain. I had a 15ml decant that I had to finish first and I have a bottle of the Au Coeur du Desert and it’s soooo beautiful. But imho I need the other one too. They are not the same. They’re similar but not the same. Soo get yourself a decant of Nishane Wulong Cha. You’ll be shocked how it smells just like Nio…..lol I’m shocked no one else figured it out. But Wulong Cha is not very popular with men . And Wulong Cha is cheaper. Especially with the 15% off from MaxAroma. I got 20% off coz it was a weekly special . But Nio doesn’t last more than an hour and same with Wulong Cha. But I love it so much that I don’t mind carrying a decant and spraying every hour. But seriously guys don’t buy Nio, get Wulong Cha

No came out in 2009 and the nishane came out in 2015 but my nio last 12 hrs in hot weather
