Great video. I just changed my passenger door handle 20 minutes ago and this video made it a breeze. I figured out quickly that a pair of needle nose players makes the door Latch clips so much easier to remove.
Great video, step by step instructions were spot on. I bought a new handle at Ford dealership for $80. I asked them what it would cost me to have them install it. They quoted me $300. No thx. I installed this myself in 20 minutes. Thx again!
Great video, super easy to follow. I was able to replace this in under 20 minutes. If you have an extra set of hands available you may not need to unclip the wiring harnesses. Other than that this video explains it well.
This video made the job super easy. My tweaks: I used a paint can opener to pull out the door latch cover ( I don't own a pick) and needle nose pliers worked pretty well to get the cable guide through the hole. Thank you!
I too had to change out my door handle but rear door. Your video made it super easy, Thanks! Only difference in process screw located on outer upper molding that pops off instead of in the grab handle,
Worked great as you noted. The only issue I had was that a clip in the handle screw came off behind the sound proofing. I had to recover it and remount and start again. Other than that no problems.
Great video on the (proper) way to change the door handle . However , I remove the 8mm bolt , take trim tool to front of the handle and pry out (it breaks the tabs but you're trashing it anyway ) remove & replace end of cable on new handle , install bolt and cover . Boom ! Done is approximately 5 min .
Nice instructions. The driver side handle just broke on my 2009 F150 yesterday. I guess I'll be ordering a pair to replace both sides since the chrome is flaking off both anyway.
So when I got it all back together. I went to put the bolt by the handle in. This is the first one you removed. But there is nothing for that bolt to screw into. It’s almost as if something fell off again. There is nothing for that bolt to screw into. What am I missing?

I used a long pair of needle nose pliers for the tabs on the door latch, worked easier for me than the pic
Small needle nose pliers on step 6 worked like a charm

Thanks for the tutorial, very helpful.
You do not need to move door panel. Pry tool behind door handle and just pop it out.
Excellent, thanks for your help.

Is it not possible to remove the wire for the door latch from just prying the door handle out? It looks like they’re might be enough slack
Great video!
