Fun video. I did Happy Isles to Reds in mid July 2020 and had a spectacular time. The late afternoon thunderstorms dumped lots of quarter to half inch hail and cooled everything down but even that was a welcome change. Thanks for sharing.
Great see you back. Beautiful trail area. I love thousand island lake. Yeah, last year hiked JMT at this exact time, nobo from horseshoe meadows, some night down to 28f overnight.
Yeah, we camped just over Donahue in August a few years ago. I had ice on the inside of my tent, my water bottle and filter froze. And those pesky, dusty, smelly mule trains....
What camera equipment do you use to vlog on the trail? I'm going to start backpacking next year and I want to record everything, but I'm worried about the weight of my camera and equipment.
I was wondering what the temp was until I saw your face. Yeah being from New England I know what it’s like to be so cold that you can’t talk. I have to ask about the Zlites. I’ve been told that they aren’t that comfortable and the R value is low too. Is my information wrong? They are certainly durable but I wouldn’t want to get out on trail and be wishing I brought something else. I have a new puppy too. She’s an English Bulldog and is about 7 months. I was so surprised when I saw her side-slam someone as I didn’t know Bulldogs would do that. Looks like you’re working up a mean appetite. 🤗

I was at Tuolumne Meadows July 18. I did Walker Pass 533 miles to Sierra City this summer. The part I missed in 2019

I love Yosemite and really want to visit Tuolumne meadows again. Love your videos and your podcast!
Just the most beautiful views!! Stunning!
Good to see back on the trail. I ll have to watch the Colorado trip.
Good to see you out there again.
Beautiful!
Love that section.
Also, as a fellow redhead, the sunscreen part is very relatable.

Views are very nice. Don’t get sun burned.
When was this? Didn’t notice any smoke. We’re doing HST to Whitney then nobo JMT starting next weekend. Hope the smoke and fires improve.

She has a video gear review and comparison for the Zlite you could check out
What tent are you using?
😀👍
Nice
Very nice video. It could have used a dog. Happy Trails. Good Luck, Rick
A whole stick of sunscreen? I guess it uses quite a bit to protect a naked female sitting by a lake.😎
