Still think the THD100/DH10s were Volvos best although these DH12 units sound nice, best thing about mid engines vehicles is you can sit at the front and still hear the engine clearly

Boost guage is not working

If I'm not mistaking (only checked manuals so far for an electronics project, so no actual practical knowledge), that will only start to work upon engaging a gear and moving the vehicle...there's no power delivered nor needed for it to boost anything in neutral...
The guages of that type I've seen so far indicate turbo working for the speed or power required, based on the amount of power requested and outputted (think of climbing hills and stuff).
Some of the manuals also stated the boost guage refuses to work when cold because of how in some Volvo's, turbo lubrication is provided by the engine's oil pressure system, which is why some B10m's have the warning "ding" sound for about 30 seconds after starting fully through, to alert the driver not to request power because it could damage the turbo.
