Thanks Emily! I found some wooden trays in the clearance section at Michael’s Crafts last week. No covers but various sizes, with convenient handles at ends, at a great price! (And they accept 15% teacher discount ON TOP OF other discounts!!). I just have to grab some glitter paper and felt. I might mount the felt and glitter papers on top of cardboard sized to fit the bottom of the trays so that I can switch out the felt, glitter or even sand when necessary.
I would like to buy the spiral bound decodable book. How much is it? And how soon could I get it? I would like to share it with a college class I teach.
